I actually watched Asmon's video the other day, and he even gave Elon the benefit of the doubt in a few of the points that the video he was reacting to made which makes this even more funny. It's pretty bad to to even lie about something like this in the first place, but to double down and react like this when people call you on it makes it far, far worse. Hilarious drama shit show to start off the year.

In somewhat related news, Sam Harris just revealed that he had a private million dollar bet with Elon about Covid-19 becoming a widespread pandemic (Elon claimed that it would stop below 35k cases in the US). Elon lost the bet, allegedly welched on it and then started publicly trash talking Sam.

This isnt new behavior for Elon. Hes aways been this petty and insecure. Hes waving around his ability to leak DMs and take away your checkmarks(which reduces your visibility significantly) on his whims, which will deter influential people from openly criticizing him on the platform
