What's not to like about this:

Now you get to watch her leave out the window,
Guess that's why they call it window pane

Hahaha...HAH. At some point it probably was, that crap genre is nothing short of bad joke (A really, really bad one) nowadays... or since the early 2000s. Also, good for Em. One of the few rap artist I still sort of respect.

It is hard to believe such stupid people do exist. But, this post proves it.

This is such bullshit and really shows you haven't listened to anything recently. There are tons of amazing artists in the game now.

Eminem was ridiculously popular in his prime, deservedly so. He hasn't done anything to ruin his image or credibility, which keeps him respected. And he's still capable of great verses these days.

Recovery was dope and the album with Royce was too, don't know what y'all talking about he hasn't put out a good album in a decade.

His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms spaghetti
There's vomit on his sweater already, mom's spaghetti
He's nervous, but on the surface he looks calm spaghetti
To drop bombs, but he keeps on spaghetti

Is Eminem still relevant?

I guess the likes imply he is, but how much of that is based on legacy fans from the early 2000s?

His latest album sold like 7 million worldwide. He has like a billion youtube views, etc. He tops billboards charts. The music industry pays attention to the music he releases.

If that's not relevant, I don't know what is.

Well deserved. Recovery was great and so was the Bad Meets Evil "Hell The Sequel". Even though he's not in his prime SSLP - Eminem Show days, he's still one of the most talented artists out there.

Aren't Eminem's albums, in general, full of nothing but hate and anger?

Yeah, there is a lot of that. But his rapping technique in his prime is virtually unfuckwithable. He has an unparalleled way with words, regardless of subject matter.

He's objectively the greatest rapper alive, in terms of technical ability at least.

I would have agreed with you a few years ago, but I'll dispute it now. His flows are still air tight, but his use of vocabulary has taken a dive. He's swearing far too much now. Seemed like every other word on the Bad Meets Evil EP was some variation of fuck or motherfucker.

I still love his early albums, he was easily one of the best rappers of all time from around 98-03. Then he got addicted to opiates and put out Encore.

His new albums are alright but nowhere near as good as his old stuff. Relapse was alright, Recovery was good and the BME EP was somewhere in between. The stupid punchlines still do my head in though.

He has always had broad appeal imo. I'm not the biggest fan of the guy but I get why people dig him. He has a rags to riches story, expresses frustration towards those with oppressive mindsets and supports freedom of speech. A lot people relate it seems.
