Employee throws McTantrum after getting fired

Are you kidding me? You see how calm everyone ELSE is?

If this was Florida, the guys filming it would be screaming along with him, egging him on, while the coworkers would be joining in on the damage while trying to knock his ass to the floor.

Exactly.

No I think it's sad that people record it and it's sad that people don't help two different sadnesses that often intersect.

What a cowardly attitude you are fellow human being seeing another human in distress it is your business to at least offer up so kind help to calm this person.

He wasn't in distress. He was fired and chose to throw a hissy fit. I also wonder how many people there are trained to handle such a situation. Everybody did the right thing by not engaging the fool and just try and get him out of the store.

He just made every employees night that much harder to try and clean that mess up and still serve customers who have no idea what happened.

Florida Man would be the fired Employee.

If anyone potentially needed help from bystanders, it was that manager, fellow employees and customers. That guy smashing the place up was not in distress, except maybe in his own mind.

I hate that things can be recorded so easily these days, instead trying to talk to this dude folks just stand back laugh and record stuff. Sad world we live in.

You clearly haven't been alive around that time if you think people would have reacted any differently.

Worst thing about the video was turning away from the action to have a 10 second expose on what brands the dude and his buddy were wearing. What is the point.

Real Talk.

Where's MN?

there should be a feature on phones while you're recording a vertical video that shines "DUMBASS" in bright and shiny colors.

I enjoyed the comedic factor of him disappearing into the back out of view and you being limited to hearing shit being thrown around.

If only people were able to calmly an rationally think about giving into their rage before losing control, they would realize it wasn't worth it. You lose your freedom and make it harder for yourself to find future employment, all on top of being fired... its the equivalent of falling down a flight of stairs instead of just tripping a little. It's not worth it!

Lol, What's cowardly about choosing to not be involved in a situation that's between a manager and an employee? I don't think you know what the definition is.
That dude is also acting very belligerent. Only a dumbass would jump into that situation like that with hugs and kisses like coconut is suggesting lol.

Thank you for the worldstar commentary and jumping into the frame. People who shoot these videos are just as bad as the shit going down.

My first though on seeing the up next picture made me realize I have had enough internet for the day.

So I guess the manager in the video was fired as well. According to the manager it was because the owner of the McDonald's claims he didn't have control of the situation. IF that's true I don't know what else he could have done. The manager seemed to be handling it the best he could.

That's kind of a bummer. I'm not sure I would have wanted to get in front of that guy's tantrum.

I didn't understand what he was saying. Either way, he kind of killed his whole career as an employee. If you are lashing out like that over $20, Welp, you can kiss that $20 and whatever else you would have been making goodbye.

The thing that stood out specifically for me, is when he said, "I get treated like shit at home so I'm not taking that shit here!" Something to that effect...

.... Whatever is happening at home clearly is affecting his life.

Can't blame someone for being angry and frustrated they work at a job like that. Can blame them for disrupting customers and creating a shit mess that coworkers have to clean up.

this was already a bummer and this just magnified it, tbh. something is clearly wrong with this kid, and in the article the manager seems level-headed. Hope this publicity doesn't hurt his chances of finding work.

He'll be alright. He'll get some kind of shitty job and will just have to basically start over.
