That was a kick ass episode of Trek and the one next week looks even more kick ass. Man if we could get more of these before the idiot losers cancel this show I'll be happy. At least it looks like we'll get to see the foundation of the federation or something like it before the show dies.

god damn, this wasnt here when i clicked

What I really want to know is what genius would beam the maco's back first instead of ship officers. The Macos are supposed to be marines, first in - last out!

yeah, especially the CHIEF ENGINEER

and then that MACO got so suckered, and then got his ass whooped 1 on 1

I was glad he didn't get punked though. He at least bitch slapped Shran and put up a good fight :)

I was really impressed with this one. I guess it's supposed to be the start of another three-parter. Looks like they're trying to build up to the
Romulan Wars
, first with the conclusion of the Vulcan arc and now this.

Except that the original series established that no one ever saw a Romulan before the interstellar war.
Continuity what?

No one has seen a Romulan yet. What's the problem?

Nobody saw the crew members. Except the audience (you!).

This show needs to be saved .. THIS is what we all wanted in a Trek prequel. The Andorian captain has always made each episode he's in a pleasure to watch, this one is no exception. Great, Great writing, story and effects. Great Trek!

Somebody ... start watching Enterprise!

You can't go wrong with an Andorian Dr. Herbert West

Last year I would be have been so happy if they canceled it, the show was going no where it was just killing what was left of the Star Trek name but if they cancel now i am going to be so pissed. The potential the show has just went up a few 100 please in the last 10 episodes.

Am I crazy or did they forget to add some effects in post-production? In the scene where the Andorians break into the Tellarites' quarters there was what looked like a window but just solid blue outside, instead of a starfield.

As Cafeman said no one but the audience saw the Romulan's. All the battles in the war verus the Romulans, were ship to ship battles, with no visual communications between ships. It's assumed there were no land battles. If there were land battles they would have been know to be related to Vulcans. Also I think Gene Roddenberry just wanted a shocking moment revealing that Vulcans and Romulans are the same. He wasn't thinking about explaining it all. Here's a link to a brief explanation http://www.memory-alpha.org/en/index.php/Earth-Romulan_War

Ah the ever popular claim of a continuity error in Enterprise.

Whatever else is wrong with it, they've been hella careful about continuity from day one. Except that they're still way too friendly with the klingons.

I would bang a hot farmer!
Doesn't CBS own UPN? It's time for them to smarten up and put Enterprise on the main network so it can get the ratings that it deserves.

I agree with you there grahm, but their portrayal of the Romulans is absolutely perfect. They're doing awesome work establishing the birth of the Federation.

Paramount owns UPN. United Paramount Network.

I believe Les Moonves head of CBS, also runs UPN. So basically they are the same.

Ship was a bit too futuristic and capable for my liking, but I loved the reveal at the end. Great episode! If the show is ending, let Manny Coto and his team write the final, fuck those Berman & Co. bitches!
