Yeah quite a lot of us care because Treyarch games have good story.
World At War is factual but the sequel, Black Ops, blends real life history with the game's fiction similar to Metal Gear.

This is people datamining COD HQ update files. Because Actvision in their infinite wisdom decide to release games this way. Nothing to do with it being uploaded to a "database". Not sure where that's coming from. It's likely they wanted to do a stupid Gamescom reveal to coincide with it judging by the files uploaded.
