Thats like saying who cares what guns are in an FPS, the game might be Splatoon or Battlefield, the weapons matter.
Or who cares what cars are in a racing game, maybe we are doing truck racing or its Mario Kart.

The fighters are our only way of interacting with the world, they are like the most important part of the game, cuz you need to know who you are up against and what weapons you are gonna be taking into battle.

I agree, but would it be a spoiler if you learned that in the next Battlefield there will be a sniper rifle, a mini gun, a shotgun and a Eagle ?

Alisa is Lili but pink hair. I believe Kuma is same art in Tekken 7 but with glasses.
Gotta respect the effort though.

Lol this is pretty much confirmed it is real

Namco fucked up in their website and revealed 2 names, Raven and Azucena. It goes with the leak.

Is the Remington/Bushmaster ACR in the game?
I need me my ACR.
Do we have Anti-Air Lock-on rockets or are they all dumb fire?
What Anti-Vehicle armaments does infantry have at their disposal?
Are there any LittleBirds.....those things are a menace....I love them!


So yes, that actual weapons in the game matter alot.
Same with a fighting game, the actual fighters matter a ton, hell if your main isnt in the game you are basically forced to learn a new character from scratch.

I dont get how you dont get why people care about a fighting games roster?

Other than this is the first time weve had Jun since Tekken 2

Wheres Master Raven?
Wheres Lucky Chloe
Wheres Josie
Wheres Julia
Wheres Eddy
Wheres Christie
Wheres Heiheichi

I could keep going these are just characters off head.


So clearly its not the same as any other Tekken roster which is why people care about the roster, they need to know which characters made it and which ones didnt.

With the trailers that were just shown one of which was a brand new character this leak must be real since it shows her in the character select and the return of Raven.

 
New character designs are weak, but hopefully the new troll character has permanently replaced the furry and stripper because she looks like she is worth playing.

Okay I take back what I said. The leak seems legit.
I like Azucena. She has solid design, much better than other female characters.
Finally a new character looks interesting. Found my new main in Tekken 8 lol.

Well like I said, none of those are Josie animations and some of your claims are really stretching it. That's not a double knee, it is not the same uppercut and the b+1,1 looks nothing like Josies, if anything it's reminiscent of Miguel. Df1,2 is not at all alike either. Maybe the f3 knee looks somewhat the same but it is way higher up and has a different angle. Either way, it is not the same animation.
 
Had a feeling it was real. Way too much effort to make small portraits just for a troll. Is there a list of who the portraits represent? I think the hooded girl is Reina, and the guy who looks completely new is Victor.

I'm happy Raven is back, he evolved even more than i could have hoped for.

Still hope Christie Michelle and Katarina will still make it, if not base roster then early DLC hopefully.
 
I heard this was fake, but then I heard it's real so I don't know what to think. Looks pretty legit to me, but a few of the portraits I'm not quite sure about.

Same moves =/= animations.

I didn't say they were the same animations, I said they were the same moves. Most characters in Tekken 8 have the same moves as Tekken 7, but it's clear that most animations were reworked because they look different. It doesn't look like a direct copy as we've seen from previous Tekken games.

I also wasn't the only one who noticed the same thing.




3 instead of 4. Despite different inputs, it's a very similar move to Miguel.



Same move. Similar reaction. Not the same animation. But Azcucena looks like it can be started while her back is turned





Devil Jin, Bob, and Kazuya have a similar move to Miguel's d+3+4, but their reaction is different. It doesn't do a hard knockdown.

There are more similarities and as I said, I'm sure someone will do a comparison and I wasn't the only one familiar with Tekken who noticed similar moves.
 
Well I like the roster except for one little WHERE'S JULIA? But I'm 1000% sure they'll add her in later. All my other favs are in so we good, we hype, and Azucena looks great.
 
Tekken characters have 80 to 150 moves each. Having 1 or 2 moves that look alike isn't that big of deal and don't make them similar in any way.

I never said the characters are similar, I said she has a lot of moves from Josie. I pointed out 3 moves and there's more.


There are characters in Tekken with similar moves

Anna has a lot of similar moves to Nina and Gigas has a lot of similar moves to Marduk. However, their style of play is totally different.
