Spain deserved it but when you have such profligate forwards it comes to bite you.
If England get to the final the outcome will depend on how much they allow Italy to have the ball I think. Denmark are not going to be an easy team to beat though. With the Eriksen motivation factor galvanising the team they will be a tough, physical opponent giving everything.

Jesus, I hate Italy’s semi- finals. I know I’m gonna spot some new gray hair tomorrow.
I was sure Spain was gonna get it until the very end. When Morata scored I was prepared to see them score again within 3 minutes. I don’t know how Italy held on for so long, they made so many mistakes and Olmo was unstoppable.

Putting Olmo in for a penalty was a mistake. He's an amazing player, but not when it comes to scoring. He always goes high when he tries. Did it during the pen. Thiago was obviously a poor choice too. Was giving the ball away constantly during his short time in.
Sucks seeing Spain go out this way, but not exactly unexpected. Hate penalties in general.

Agreed. Spain were fantastic. Shame to see them go out on pens. Also would like to shout out to the ref last night. He really kept the flow of the game moving and made it a real joy to watch.
Italy are also an absolute pleasure to watch. If England do make it past Denmark, then it goes without saying that Italy will be our toughest test yet. Not only that, but we'll have the pressure of our first major final since 1966, and the pressure of playing at home, with the whole weight of a nation upon the team.
Exciting times indeed!
Whatever happens, I think we can all agree this has been a fantastic tournament so far. The quality of football on display has been mind-blowing at times.

I think the idea is that England is the home of Football full stop, no matter what we have or haven’t won, because we created and exported the sport. Think it’s flown over Kasper’s head.
