I think they have a better team overall but Portugal will never make it look easy. They always struggle against Germany as well. It’ll be close. My mother’s side is Portuguese and fathers side is German. I hate that they always have to face each other.

I don’t know how people get caught up in the emotion that there was even a chance before it kicked off. If (if lol) England top the group somehow there’s a chance of either France, Germany or Portugal in the next round - which one of those do you think we can beat? Maybe finishing second would give a better round of 16 tie but that’s probably all England can hope for now.
Saint Jack of Grealish did fuck all, despite all the media begging Southgate to get him on. Now his loyal followers are like ‘Southgate should have brought him on sooner’ What? He did fuck all for the time he was on, bringing him on 5 minutes sooner would have done what exactly?
England’s best chance was the last World Cup where the majority of the seeded so called better teams went out due to bizarre group results or quarter finals. We had to beat a knackered Croatia who had gone to extra time in their previous two games but they still played us off the park in the semi final.

Bit late but England last night were woeful. No imagination, no killer instinct, no bite we passed passed passed, then gave the ball away. Feel like when we come up against a France or Germany we are going to go down in flames. I don’t know if it’s because Gareth Southgate has the team setup in a defensive configuration or what but Scotland felt way more confident as the time match went on. 2nd half was way worse though.
Ger v por was a great game really enjoyed it. I’ll give Ronaldo his dues he’s a fkin good player even at his age he was still keeping up with the game and played the full 90.
