Eurogamer: GTA V coming to PC early 2014

Prediction: Launches April 5th, 2014 on PC/PS4/XB1 with the newest DLC pack bundled in for $59.99 (and collector's editions available too). The DLC will release at the same time for the current gen versions as well so everyone is happy.

Wished we knew what improvements the PC version had over ps360?

More curious as to what that would entail for a ps4 version really...just want to know the basics like resolution, fps, and overall 'life/AI/stuff' in the city improvements.

There will be minimal improvements aside from "improved graphics" yadda yadda. You will probably get the option to increase the number of peds and cars on the road which is pretty damn essential since most of the time Los Santos is like a ghost town from what I have seen.

I imagine they will probably shove the custom radio station into the PC and they will include the video editor in the PC version. I can also see them including custom radio stations and video editor into the "next gen" console version too since they are so youtube friendly.

The only limitation is your wallet, life is good.

That is true, but since I am not a huge PC gamer, I don't see the need to build a monster rig for GTA V. With the new consoles around the corner and my family expenses budgets must be had. Hopefully it'll release for the next gen consoles and if so, I'll be there to double-dip day 1.

Shock and awe.

Nothing against your Shinobi, I love you like a brother from another mother and all that. But that article by Eurogamer, has no evidence besides " inside sources" to confirm pc version.

I mean I see it coming out like all other GTA's have for pc, it's just sometimes I feel things get posted because of excitement and anticipation without concrete evidence.

Just my 2 cent's.

Thanks for the Thread though!

Neat, hope this implies a next-gen version is in the works. If Rockstar can provide a next gen version that lets me transfer my GTA online save then I'm double dipping for sure. Otherwise I'll pass.

This is why I beat the story on ps3, did as little side missions as possible and then sold it. Want to experience everything in its perfect form.

Can we get a rumor tag? Makes it seem concrete. Anyway hoping its for PS, not going to pick it up on PC due to the Rage engines issues with open world. ( LA Noire ,GTA )

No PS3 or 360 I assume then?

I already have the game on PS3. But I'd rather play with higher IQ on PS4 in a heartbeat. I was planning on selling my PS3 after I beat it anyways, if it's ps4 confirmed I'll sell it earlier and pick it up on PS4.

Fantastic news, but I already beaten it on 360 and with all the 2014 games to get for my soon to have PS4, X1 and Wii U I'll have to pick this up on a Steam sale.

We have always allowed rumor threads, especially when they come from news sites with good track records.

For example, Eurogamer correctly leaked the pricing for GTA V's microtransactions just a few weeks ago.

Eurogamer is reliable. I know it's just a single sentence rumour and a non-article but the subject matter is important.

Wasn't Max Payne 3 like seven hundred gigabytes because half the game--even simple stuff like climbing up ladders--was cutscenes?

There were a lot of cutscenes yeah and higher quality textures. It was still an incredibly well optimised game though. Doesn't mean GTA V will be but it certainly makes me more hopeful that it will be at least better than GTA IV
