Thank you to toma and fanboi for being excellent opponents and players, and apologies to everyone not involved in our wars for ending this game and also to Valhelm for stealing all your provinces. Congratulations also to Fitz, who I'd nominate for the game's best player and will be a clear 10 score for next round. I think I finished 1st ADM, 2nd DIP, 2nd MIL if Kabouter takes the save from the final day, so pretty pleased with it all - a big thank you to Kabouter for getting me started in Italy, Fitz for being an excellent alliance partner, toma for helping drop Castile to low prestige, and Swedish trains for delaying fanboi when he would have overwhelmed me completely. I look forward to next game, provided I am far, far away from any of you really good players.

BTW: Does anyone know exactly what determines Warleader on the defending side? The wiki is really vague about it.
Example: I declared on Wurtemberg, who was in a coalition with Palatinate and Switzerland against me. I thought perhaps Palatinate would become war leader, them holding the emperor title in HRE and everything. Instead Switzerland became war leader, leading me to war with their allies Austria and Bohemia.
BTW2: Would be nice to see what tech everyone had at the end too Kabs
Typically, the largest nation in an alliance network will assume leadership of the war.
I'm in a crazy SP game atm. Austria is in a PU under Poland, Bohemia is in a PU under Brandenburg. AI Burgandy was this close to taking over France until its king died, triggering the Burgandinian Succession Crisis. Bohemia wound up with the northern half.
Just so many things I've never seen before.

A PU with Bohemia isn't that uncommon, Bohemia will often get the same dynasty as another nation in the beginning of the game because of their lack of a ruler. If that ruler dies before the Podebrad-event or someone claims the throne (but I don't think AI does that), you have a very early Bohemia PU. I used this with great effect in my latest SP game as Saxony.
