Usually for me too but they were 2nd last this time!Year after year after year... the second place is my personal winner it seems.
Dubious? No.UK did worse than last year and that one was dogshit.
Austria sucks but it's better than the yearly dubious phone votes for Israel. They'd get the 12 points from Iran.
Amazing how every year we have to read this dumb take.Still trying to find Israel on my map of Europe.
Israel got last or almost last twice in the last years but yeah, whatever fits your asinine narrative.UK did worse than last year and that one was dogshit.

people did not give uk a single point thoughThe dubious part is the fact that UK and Switzerland got more jury points than Israel. Both with terrible songs.
I liked it. It was better than the Estonia's Coffee and Sweden's Sauna.Anyway, I'm still seething that the best song from Europe didn't make it to the finals

And Switzerland, which goes to show how much of a disconnect there was.people did not give uk a single point though

If the judges had any balls Israel would've taken it, but I understand them all voting en masse for theremin voice because it's so "artsy".I think israel has a good shot taking the whole thing.

The spanish broadcasters definitely showed bias and EBU threaten to fine them if it happened again:but the UK Jury members all seem like very good picks after doing a bit of a wiki on them, producers, singer, choreographer etc.
And it failed to qualify in 2022, 17th in 2021, 23th in 2019 when hosting the event. It sent Noa Kirel who is an actually successful artist in 2023 and two singers who aren't relying on gimmicks and costumes.
What are you on about? They were 5th over all but 2nd by phones votes and had the most 12 point phone votes last year.
I'll be back next year.Amazing how every year we have to read this dumb take.
I'll be back next year.
I think its next to Australia on the EU mapStill trying to find Israel on my map of Europe.
I'm happy that Austria won. I expected Sweden, but the televote really came out in favor of Israel, sapping votes from everyone else. Israel's song wasn't even that good.
I hope the EBU wises up, otherwise they will end up with an Israel winner and they'll lose a lot of their core fanbase.
Haha, core fanbase? you mean the gays who voted Israel to the top?I'm happy that Austria won. I expected Sweden, but the televote really came out in favor of Israel, sapping votes from everyone else. Israel's song wasn't even that good.

Nah I disagree, it was pretty awful. No where near as bad as last year's entry, but it was bad.UK was robbed by people with no taste.
I'm not even kidding, that song was good. A lot of Queen in there.
Australia is often depicted where Atlantis would've been. Coincidence? I think not!I think its next to Australia on the EU map
I really want to see a pop song made by the Vatican. That sounds kinda cool.
I like the song too, but they botched the lives, especially the grand final, girl in pink's voice was all over the place, not good at all.UK was robbed by people with no taste.

I saw an actual paid YT ad for Israel's entry this morning, begging to vote for them. Nothing against them, but that's just sad.
We get it, you don't like Jews or IsraelIsrael organized an extensive social media campaign together with ads to try to get people to vote for them. The power of advertising and outreach at play, the resulting point distribution is far from natural and organic - obviously people would not really vote for this song with such a skew on its merits alone.
They'd probably somehow receive 12 points from Palestine too if they were eligible for a televote, by having Mossad goons make people vote at gunpoint if nothing else.

Stop shitting up a meme thread about terrible music
Cheers
Ah, damn Jews using advertising to get votes. What will they think of next?!Israel organized an extensive social media campaign together with ads to try to get people to vote for them. I know, it's like no other country used any social media at all to advertise thier own song. Just those damned Jews!Ah, damn Jews using advertising to get votes. What will they think of next?!
