i've been posting for a long time, have had a lot of stupid tags (all brought on by me)
said manya stupid thing (and smart thing) had a little fan following (i think) and i generallys ay goofy things to annoy or scare/amuse people. i'm a like a B or C level hollywood celebrity who reads lots of scripts, does some voice over work, starts in a straight to video movie and i may occasionally do some soft-core porn for cinemax or something. and oh yeah, a litle off-broadway to feed the family. what? this isnt Etrue hollywood story? fuck that....

My post volume is way down from years past. I don't even post in the Gaming forum anymore. I don't play games a whole lot either, so that's why. I make up for volume with annoyance and excessive wordage. Rule #1 for winning an argument is to bore the other person to tears with really long posts. I was a bit of an obnoxious Sony fanboy. But the key is moderation. I'm a jerk in limited doses. These days I just come on to vent my crazy ideas on everyone. I think some of the older forum members remember me and tolerate me. I know I piss some people off, and I take pleasure in that. You either get me or you don't. If you don't get me, tough shit, you're missing out.

If you say enough crazy things, you'll get a tag and probably banned. But it's good to know people who can get you out of that jam. I've been banned a couple of times, but they were just big misunderstandings. Some people have different definitions of tact and class. Oh well, go out and earn that tag. PEACE.

forum popularity is the most utterly inane, unsatisfying, and ungratifying things your ego has ever clamored for. Real world popularity has some visible perks to it (Sex, Freinds, Sexy Freinds) so the human mind understandably desires some. But once it's asking for presence in a cyber-social-structure, it's lost any sane motive I can possibly think of. Just post your obscure threads, let them sink like stones, and be happy about it. At least I'd read them.

I think the forum is a fantastic source of information, entertainment, and opinion, but what goes on here or where I "fit in" here has no bearing on the reality of my day to day life. Sweating your "presence on the forum" is a sure sign of misplaced social priorities, the extremes of such behavior being net addicts like Evercrack-heads and e-hermits.

You made a thread a long while back saying how embarassed you were of this forum, that you hid that you came here from your friends, etc. I remember because you cited me for whatever reason as someone who is on this forum way too much, and you got banned. If it's only a message board, why hide it from people?

I talk about shit I've heard on this forum all the time with my friends (as I said its a great source of information) and I'm not embarassed in the least to say that I visit message boards.
