Ever wonder what a "black" albino looks like? I know I have.

And I just found a picture of one.

:eek

The More You Know...

Oh, I thought you meant a child of white parents who is born black.

I want to see his eyes. The red eyes are cool, wish I had them.

No, I went to school with one, or someone who was very near one.

You double take, but nature has done far more bizzare things to the human being

I did a small project on albinism five or so years ago; ran across several images in my searches. One was a musician... went by something like Yellow Man?

*searches*

Sure enough.

I've seen them around a lot here and where I work. They're said to be the rarest form of human around. I do live in a predominantly black area though, so I guess it was a matter of playing the numbers.

An albino went to my school.

I have a picture of him at our prom.

EDIT:

Ugh. How I said it sounded too...."discriminatory" :)

I had one in my HS. Or two, rather. They were twins. One boy, other girl.

How come no one has posted a picture of the albino weight lifter...?

I went to school with one too. They have a few problems due to their condition like high risk of skin cancer, and poor vision that cant be corrected.

Most people with Albinism have very light blue eyes under normal lighting conditions. But their eyes become translucent with bright light. Some albinos however eyes are translucent under any amount of light. This is what translucent eyes look like.

You go around posting everything you find in the subways?

no I'm asking what is so disturbing in that picture that gets a banned response? especially from a prized picture?

There was a pic of a black albino in my Biology book last year. He didn't look all that different except for a light skin color and blonde hair.

There's this black albino guy who I've seen around town for years. He looks just like any other black guy, but his skin is flesh colored (like the crayola crayon flesh tone) and he has bleach blond color hair with redish eyes.

Saw another black albino guy in an advert in Artforum magazine.

(oh, I saw an albino squirel a few weeks ago running down the street with some other squirels. It was like he was king of squirels or something. Very badass)

Is it a Black Albino then? Since the whole idea of Black people is based on skin pigment?
Well "Black" isn't a scientific term and "blacks" have other distinguishing features than just their pigment.

Isn't the red color eyes kind of creepy.

Shhhh!
You'll let everyone know that races are largely societal fabrications.

Though I have heard the term white albino, but that was about a snake, and the people saying it were not too bright....

There are white albinos, and asian ones too. All races have people who suffer from albinism.
