So I loved this song as a kid, and I randomly thought about it while driving a couple days ago. So, I still like it I think, but objectively it’s terrible right? Not sure if my nostalgia glasses are fully on or not.



So GAF thoughts? This is peak 90s as a forewarning.

It's not particularly good or bad, that's average R&B from the 90s.

I like it but I personally prefer their earlier hits. Looking at it today, this song has a sterile, homogenized quality that makes it less interesting and blends in with similar songs of the time. It almost seems like the exact template that BSB and *NSYNC a few years later.

The song isn't terrible, but no matter where I skipped to in the song, almost everything sounded like it was the same part. The main difference was Heavy D's vocals, and even that was just a different person performing the same thing.

I do love some early 90s R&B / New Jack Swing, though. And your avatar was an even larger blast of nostalgia.

The song is OK. It's better than Everything I Do (I Do It For You) but not as good as Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic.
