Every Nintendo fan has moral and civic duty to support Duskbloods like it's a Nintendo first party game

Sony was gifted two of the best games ever made by From Soft, one is literally The GOAT, and they squandered it both times 🤦‍♂️

Didn't Sony Japan help with development? They pumped their own money and resources into development. That's not a gift. That's a business partnership.

I'm sure this will benefit from being one of the first new games/new IPs on Switch 2 in its launch window. I'll probably get it just to have something to play despite not being a Souls fan (if I can actually get a Switch 2)

Sorry, buddy. I suck enough at Souls games in single player.

… then again, this one being successful may really upset the diehard Souls fans, so I should consider buying a copy and not even download it.

I wanna see this game sell 10-12 million copies and become massive on-going franchise.

I also want to see Nintendo and From Soft collaborate on more exclusive projects. Since many people think Nintendo need to cater more to 'mature' audience, From Soft type of games are ideal for that

- At the very least I'd like to see more From Soft games ported to Switch 2, like Sekiro, Armored Core 6, Dark Souls 3
- I'd like to see From Soft input and influence on the next, darker theme Zelda game

Sony was gifted TWO From Soft exclusives and they squandered it both times. Don't repeat the same mistake, NINTENDO and their FANS MUST SUPPORT DUSKBLOODS, please 🙏

I refuse to pay for NSO out of principle.

so this game doesn't interest me really currently

I will obviously play this, since I love FromSoft.
But I really hope this is the first and last Nintendo exclusive from them.
I want high fidelity and high fps in these games.

Sorry, but i wont buy it. I want a normal souls game, not a multiplayer focused one. Same reason why i wont be buying Nightrein.
Give me a single player game with optional online and i'll buy it.

Moral and Civic duty? Kek.

Time and time again I'll repeat this: I'm a customer, not a charity. You don't make the stuff I want, I don't buy. I don't care if you're from a well known brand. If it doesn't appeal to me, no buy.

Buy me a Switch 2, a NSO 1 year subscription and Duskbloods and I'll play it for you OP.

Otherwise lol no I am not interested in this PvPvE Battle Royale Online only trash.

What do you mean by Sony were "gifted" two exclusives? Demon's Souls and Bloodborne were collaborative efforts with Japan Studio contributing a ton of their own manpower to both projects.

If it was SP focus like past FROM I would gladly buy it because I actually like its artstyle but I don't like online focus games.

Like for real. I'm only gonna give Nightreign a chance because you can play solo if you want to. This idea of making SP series go MP doesn't make sense to me.

My issue with Nightreign is you need to rush to find gears before night ends which I'm not fan of….the big reason I like Elden Ring because I like do take my time and explore the game at my own pace.

Yeah not a fan of the speedrun Roguelite thing they got going for it. I've played a few of these and part of Fromsoft is soaking in the atmosphere and that aspect will be lost in Nightreign.

False.

Counterpoint: it's a multiplayer game and thus I 👏 do not give a shit 👏

Your logic applies to Elden Ring Tarnished Edition and nothing else. Same argument, it just makes sense this way.

And i prefer FromSoftware games not to be exclusive to one platform, but available to as many people as possible. Just like other popular and beloved franchises not to try to copy them but to rely on their own creativity and heritage.

This game will sell a million if lucky. The audience for this doesn't exist on a Nintendo platform. The audience for Nintendo plays Mario Kart with auto steer.

I'd much rather see Fromsoft go back to other neglected franchises like Kuon and King's Field. I don't do mp much, especially in games like these. Its actually one of my main complaint of all Soulslikes, invasions and forced mp. Thankfully there are ways around it but if I was trying to coop with a friend having to deal with random people and trolls is hardly fun to us. It should have been an option. Plus I'm just sick of the format of the battles in Souls games and the focus on difficulty. Its obviously a preference thing, but at this point in my life I've absolutely had it with games being punishing and brutal. I want a more relaxing experience, no more handholding like I've never played a game before and am retarded, and I would like games to move beyond PS3 era game design.

If they had made a game that can be played offline without NSO and was its own beast I'd be there day 1.

Maaaaan. I've love another Horror game from From with the Atmosphere Kuon had.

Love the setting, love the majoras mask meets bloodborne

But they lost me at pvp-only. The fastest I ever went from 100 to 0 on a fromsoft game

Online-only means paying for online, doesn't it?
It's cheap on Nintendo consoles but I still don't do that out of principle.

I was all over it until I saw it's a multiplayer game. Screw that.

It sounds like you just want people to support it because it's not on PlayStation (yet).

I'm actually fairly certain it will sell quite well without my input. I'm not dismissing it, but I don't feel it's my civic duty, either.
