Every Nintendo fan has moral and civic duty to support Duskbloods like it's a Nintendo first party game

bitch slap slapping GIF

Online pvp only...
Most of the casual nintendo players dont appreciate/not interested in these kind of games. Most haven't played anything but elden ring if that..
I don't think it will sell even half of what you mentioned OP. But who knows...

still more complex than a sony first party game :messenger_tears_of_joy:

WHAAAAT? but Spider-Man is so complex! sometimes the game tells you in plain English text to aim at something, and sometimes it tells you in plain English text to press triangle!

that's insane complexity! the sheer amount of button prompts! BUTTON PROMPTS LIKE YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE!
they even have 2 different colors of waypoint markers to follow! yellow and blue! INSANE I TELL YOU! and you even have to use both hands in some fights!... not all of them... BUT SOME OF THEM!

p.S.: small fun fact, the drone chase missions in Spiderman 2 automatically steer for you unless you play on the highest 2 difficulty modes 🤣 I'm not joking

If it wasn't multiplayer I MAY have given it a shot cause I like the aesthetics. But I'm not much of a souls fan anymore and I don't even know if I'll bother with a Switch 2 while Nintendo is high on the paint fumes

I wanna see this game sell 10-12 million copies and become massive on-going franchise.

I also want to see Nintendo and From Soft collaborate on more exclusive projects. Since many people think Nintendo need to cater more to 'mature' audience, From Soft type of games are ideal for that

- At the very least I'd like to see more From Soft games ported to Switch 2, like Sekiro, Armored Core 6, Dark Souls 3
- I'd like to see From Soft input and influence on the next, darker theme Zelda game

Sony was gifted TWO From Soft exclusives and they squandered it both times. Don't repeat the same mistake, NINTENDO and their FANS MUST SUPPORT DUSKBLOODS, please 🙏
K can we stop with the revisionism? Sony were not 'gifted' anything, they approached From Software both times. The only hiccup was when Sony heads at the time weren't keen on Demons Souls so opted to not publish across seas….HOWEVER, Bloodborne they gave a huge budget, a support studio and massive marketing and invested initially in FS. They didnt squander anything, Bloodborne is Miyazakis baby, without him its not getting touched.
Secondly, Sony is now the largest shareholder in Kadokawa, and by extension From Software. The Duskbloods was already in the works before the investment. After the investment Kadokawa confirmed the closer partnership and publishing with Sony so no there wont be more Nintendo exclusives and nor should there be. Wont be long before its confirmed to be coming to other platforms anyway.

Nintendo fans are doing enough buying this expensive as hell console
In fact, every Nintendo fam jas the duty of jailbreaking theirs console as soon as possible.

For me it all depends on how it plays, but I am interested in it and hopefully it turns out good. I want some gameplay impressions and reviews before committing to it. This forum is very single player focused, so I doubt you will get much support for it here, but I see some interesting stuff with it and hope it pans out, but am still in a wait and see approach ATM.

I only pay for stuff I actually want. It's up to developers to sell me on a game I could want.

But, do you actually buy any games ? I thought that Gamepass® best value in gaming, only 12.99 a month is how you rolled, no need to be "sold" on a game by the devs that way friend since they're "free" 😀

If you are a fan fucking gift it to me

Wait is it multiplayer like they always are where messages are left and you can summon others to help you or are you forced to play with others??

edit: and of course pvp is online, did you think its LAN part pvp

If it's not a cartoon game aimed at kids and grown men who still live at home, it's not going to sell on a Nintendo platform.
Women and men who don't live at home can enjoy things like BOTW, Ring Fit and Monster Hunter Risem

I wouldn't rule this out. There's quite a few Kadokawa exclusives on Switch, and they can still happen even with the Sony deal.

I'm still interested because it's From, but depending on how the online works then I'll decide if I buy it. If it looks like just another Dark Souls PVP clone then I'll probably pass. Hope there's some more meat to the combat.

I think it's an attempted power move by Nintendo to get "serious" gamers into their ecosystem. It doesn't look good enough to buy on day one imo, so I think souls fans would be better off waiting for exclusivity to expire after year or so. Nintendo isn't publishing it, right? It'll come to other platforms for sure.

Nothing feels more dejecting than when you tried to rally the troops, only to be mocked and laughed at

No offense: The Duskbloods is the next Bayonetta 2+3.

The audience and core demo are on other platforms, which tells me FromSoft is doing this for a different reason (cozying up to Nintendo corp. appears strategic).

The weird thing about this game is that the more I look at it the more I feel like it has Lies of P vibes but in a From way. Maybe it's just the train station. Or maybe it's just the fact it doesn't have much of a distinguishable identity.

absurd wish imo, You cannot force people to like what You like
You should know there some words regarding Nintendo (任天堂) name : Leave Luck to Heaven
If it's good, it will sell well. not all Nintendo fans loves the theme of DB.
