Windjammers is just as much of a gamble--the people handling the re-release are notorious for putting out sub-standard products, so there's every chance it'll suck.

It won't die. The scene is small, but diehard. Plus, we've still got KI World Cup. There's no doubt that EVO is a big part of keeping some spotlight on it, though. It would be bad if it didn't make it, but not quite catastrophic. That said, I'm gonna continue to hope, donate, and shill for KI at Evo.

Well Injustice 2 comes from one of the top fighting game developers and we already have a game in the franchise to kinda base it off of. ARMS is a true total unknown

I expect the standard EVO entries (KI, Marvel, MK) will take the lead for now but after a few days the more casual crowd outside the FGC will start to catch on and support for stuff like Pokken, ARMS, and Skullgirls will jump up by a lot.
