Damn, was just thinking about dude the other day. Shame it had to be this to see him again

lol you broke character quoting slay.Snip
Honestly I'm torn, sure on one hand he's black. But I mean he doesn't look 100% black black. They probably thought he fit the description of a white guy and tackled him. I think we need to stop thinking everything is about racism, like racism is never going to go away if we keep bringing it up every time something happens to someone. I mean maybe if the black community had better leaders and were in better shape, then blacks who are good people wouldn't be punished for the blacks who are bad crime. I think we need to dismantle our race based views in this country, stop seeing things as "black people this" or "white people" that and start seeing ourselves as once race the American race. Not to sound racist, but my best friend is black and even he agrees that black on black violence is the real problem in the black community, that and rap music glorifying money does black youth no good. Not to say it's black people's fault, they've been dealt a shitty hand in life, but slavery was 400 years ago, they gotta get over it. I personally don't see color. Black people also aren't helping matters by inconveniencing others by "protesting" and waging a war on cops.
TL;DR - If you're not breaking the law you have nothing to worry about. Race has nothing to do with it. America is pretty much post racial. This is what Bernie Sanders is trying to fix, our class and economic problem. Vote for Bernie
Yea he would have got clips from an entire squad if they saw him with that.
What does this have to do with race? Cops thought the person matched the description of a suspect, and so they did what they did? Do we have evidence suggesting the description of the suspect was "Black male" with no additional detail, so they just tackled a random black person? This shit is getting out of control, any time happens to anyone who is black all of a sudden it's a race issue without even finding out what the context of the situation was and why they targeted the person.
It reminds me of that black actress who was having public sex in a car, and she got arrested for it and made it a race thing. It's like what the fuck?
I mean sure it was a mistake in this case, but are the only cases of mistaken identity which are allowed going to be mistaken identity of white people? This shit is so confusing to me.

I don't really want to get into your mess. But why is it ok for Police to just tackle people they suspect? I doubt he was presenting a danger
Something is really wrong with law enforcement in the USA.

It's not ok! I agree with you on that. But why the fuck is this about race? It's about the fact they tackled a guy without making sure it was the right guy first. Not a black guy. Just a guy
Its real, I can tell because they have been latching to that actress story to deny every instance of discrimination for the past months. Its kinda sad that they are struggling to find a new story. After the joke post on the first page I don't know if this is for real. This shit is so confusing sometimes.

Sure, Bob..It's not ok! I agree with you on that. But why the fuck is this about race? It's about the fact they tackled a guy without making sure it was the right guy first. Not a black guy. Just a guy
Seen that as well..like it's a small victory! Its real, I can tell because they have been latching to that actress story to deny every instance of discrimination for the past months. Its kinda sad that they are struggling to find a new story.
Oh you one of those colorblind folks. Proceed

Especially the NYPD.because law enforcement has lost the benefit of the doubt.
"We have a description of a guy. There he is, not doing anything, not moving, not resisting. Let's slam him on the ground because he's surely a threat!"No, I'm not. In cases where there is clear racial profiling it should absolutely be treated as a race issue. All the article says they had the description of a suspect, and they tackled the suspect. There is nothing to indicate that it was race related. It was "we have a description of someone, that guy looks like him, tackle him". The fact that they tackled him first is all that this needs to be about.

it's because he's black
Especially the NYPD.

there's no reason to tackle a suspect who isn't doing anything, and especially the suspect of a nonviolent crime. and especially needing five people to do it. you're extremely naive if you think this isn't about race, particularly with NYPD's historyExcept you have no actual evidence of that, you're literally just making an assumption.
Innocent until proven guilty doesn't only work on one side of the equation.
For all you know they had a police sketch of the guy, and he looked exactly like James Blake. But you don't know, because this article has absolutely no detail and you're way too quick to jump on the race bandwagon.
lol. Perfect timing. Sometimes I wonder why we even discuss these things on a predominantly white medium anyway."There's no burning cross or klan regalia in the story, so I'm going to go ahead and give the officers the benefit of the doubt and say this isn't a racial issue."
This is how they escorted Dylann Storm Roof out after he killed those people:
Yeah cause I mean it's not like the NYPD has a history of disproportionately treating black New Yorkers like criminals or anything.Except you have no actual evidence of that, you're literally just making an assumption.

still with youand especially the suspect of a nonviolent crime.

Didn't the cops take him to Burger King too? Doubt a black guy would get taken to BK after a murder spree

Why is okay to tackle someone just standing on the street not posing any harm? What does this have to do with race? Cops thought the person matched the description of a suspect, and so they did what they did? Oh, a vídeo of a white guy tackled and killed by the police, this means that racism is a lie.
I hate to label the whole department but man I feel like they have a very high percentage of racists and docuhebags...They literally wrote the book on racial profiling.

Nobody's saying racism is a lie. I'm saying you have no evidence that this was racism.
Let me just ask it straight. What is your evidence?

Say what? Was this about race too?
