I love JC Staff shows:
[long list]
I enjoyed (or in the case of the sequels would probably enjoy) all of the above.
It's pretty impressive how one studio can make so many average to mediocre shows!

I know at least one other person here probably watches Morita, I see the avatar from time to time. I kinda like it, not particularly funny I suppose but it's short enough that I'm not really making a big commitment in watching it every week. I really need a new Azumanga, which was aired in a similar manner.
Wait, characters don't get together in romance shows either. Hmm.
I'd love some recommendations if any of you are willing. I kind of quit following anime after college. Be forewarned: I am picky.
This is why Lovely Complex is the best romance show.
As much as I love Lovely Complex, it still fell into the trap of the show "changing" when they got together.

I don't know how you can keep a show the same after the central conflict is resolved - and just having the central conflict definitely resolved is itself admirable and rare. At any rate, the few episodes after that did feel like bonus episodes but were nice snapshots of moments when youthful relationships are challenged by the growing-up process.
If there is another romance that develops as naturally and free of nonsensical padding as Lovely Complex, I would love to see it.
Paradise Kiss is calling, and is willing to pick you up init's E-Type JaguarAkio's Car.
Also see: Star Driver. Somebody should tell Yoji Enokido to stop it.
Stop hating on Deen. They (once every hundred years) make hot-blooded awesome cartoons too.Let's all take a moment and remember that the new RK OVA is gonna be by Deen.
...
Goddamit.
You seem to have forgotten Utena! How did that happen?Azumanga Daioh, Honey & Clover, Nodame Cantabile, Toradora, and Aoi Hana are not too bad. Nevertheless, they clearly peaked in 1999 and it was all downhill from there.
Star Driver is more like taking the superficial elements of Utena (student councils, fabulosity, stock footage) but replacing all the characters with over-used anime clichés.Star Driver is more of a "what if Utena was a bore fest" scenario.
Did you guys like Somedays Dreamers, El Cazador De Bruja, Yumeria...things like those?
What is wrong with her legs? They look like they're just skin and bone and entirely out of proportion with the rest of her body. Eat a hamburger for godsakes!
That's definitely fair, but they seem to do ok with decent starting material.
They don't call 'em Kugilolis for nothing.Looks like a bony ten year old.
I hope Mirai Nikki can also pick up. Not enough character focus around Yuno and Yuki. Too much time spent on the fluff that no one cares about! (the remaining diary owners).
Chihayafuru 11
The barrel roll was phenomenal. This show hasn't had a single disappointing episode so far and I can't wait to see Taichi shedding tears as Chihaya and Arata get togetherfor a game of karuta.
Good People Die Web Promo:
God this promo had a shit budget. It's like they gave one person 3 days to animate a 10 minute short or something. I doubt this promotion is actually going to make people want to buy the game come February.
Because Shinkai makes reality look drab and uninteresting. Why not just film the outdoors at that point?
3d > 2d!
All the clouds of a shinkai movie without the actual movie. Really he should just make thirty-second cloud montages.
When Shinkai decides to adopt 3D tech, we can wrap it all up and just hook ourselves into VR forever.3d > 2d!
Although, the photo-reference-de-referencing is always neat to see.
I thought Yumeria was fine, but it was also when I watched everything and had very low standards.
I still watch everything and have low standards.

Yeah, they don't have to be the best to be enjoyable, just as with non-animated movies/series. Though with less time to watch, I had to drop the f-s bomb Zero no Tsukaima: Princesses no Rondo, is there any relevant plot besides boobs to restart it? Hentai are so much shorter, having the same goal.I still watch everything and have low standards.

GONZO blew all their budget on Last Exile Fam obviously.
I wonder how GONZO keeps the opportunity to screw up game promos. Do gaming companies not realize who they are dealing with? Does GONZO pay them to screw up their products? I don't get it.
But then everything will look flat and layered on top of each other! When Shinkai decides to adopt 3D tech, we can wrap it all up and just hook ourselves into VR forever.

Guys, we can't stand for this.

I wouldn't say it's the best way to enjoy anime granted you get a few great surprises here and there but some of the crap you wade through sometimes can make you give up on humanity.
Of course I can't think of an anime that has made me legitimately angry. Can think of a few manga though.
