I read the first paragraph while I was searching for some character art of Anaru, and then I found it. I only read a short part of it before I couldn't stop because of my own morbid curiosity. If it's OK to link it, I can. Looks like someone uploaded it to a pastebin page.

On the page, the words were being spoken by a crudely-drawn kitten. Menma's cute pictures were in sharp contrast to the horrible deed she requested.

Now that's some stylish fanservice.

Besides that, I really enjoyed the shading and voice mixing during Hitagi's relaxation scene. Her flashback was the first time I felt emotionally engaged by the show, and it was quite good at making me feel sympathy for her.

K-ON! 2

I don't find the 4koma punchlines that funny, but the overall atmosphere of these girls just hanging out is pleasantly relaxing.

The music video ED feels out of place with the rest of the show.

I'm not sure why the traffic counters have four buttons on them; shouldn't you only need one?

Played out differently than I expected though Satou was epic. I really like the animes way of animating when two characters show up on screen (they like fly one to the right, and the other to left, crossing over, hard to describe, but memorable). Putting Live for Life as the ending was a nice touch. The lyrics were so fitting for the anime.

If we get a second season I would want more team ups and more coverage of the brunette, and maybe teaming Satou up with Nikaidou. Probably my favorite supporting character since we never saw The Wizard again.

Oh dear, oooooooooooooh dear, shit is getting more and more real. This is a very bad situation indeed. I know that
Fam, Giselle, and Millia are totally gonna get saved by the Sky Russians and probably get let into their country (under close observation of course) which will allow them to form an alliance with their aggressively isolationist government. As soon as I heard them mention "Lilia's totally alive" I knew that they were going to bring her in as a pawn for Federation interests. There was also Alvis and I was all like, "She's all growed up :cajun~", but she allegedly lost someone close to her, so I hope that's back from season 1, because either Claus or Lavie being dead would make me so disappoint. I really do wonder what's going down with the sky pirates this time though, because I'm not 100% sure that Giselle's father has another "close call" narratively left in him. If he does, that's some mighty powerful extended plot armor.

This is just like "Bad shit happening on every front" here. Easily the best show to watch this season week-by-week. It's got me on the edge of my seat and I'm freak'n out man!

Are you happy now Elzac! Shit is going DOWN!

Yuki is moving his relationship in a way I do not like :(. Nice episode especially for Nishijima, I hope he remains a part of the series.
Glad Kurusu is out of the plot, started to get tired of him once he decided to double cross everyone

I hope the next episode has Akise.

I'm feeling kind of :firehawk about Christmas being over. It's probably a bit worse for people who don't live where there are parties and festivals all the time.

Damn, replacing Yasuhiro Imagawa with Jun Kawagoe is like replacing Hayo Miyazaki with Goro Miyazaki.

Does that sound a bit harsh? I guess it does. I wonder what happened between Imagawa and the studio, I presume they pissed him off. That seems like an error.

knocking that spiked blade with his bare hand to make a solution to the puzzle
. Next episode should be good. I bet Jin is the baron whenever that plot point gets brought up.

I think the most shocking thing was
Rook being jealous of Kaito, I hope they can make up

There’s always a question.

In a detective show, the kind of show which you expect Un-Go to be, that question would generally be ‘who is the killer?’ We might arrive at that answer by teasing apart another question ‘why would they kill that person?’ These aforementioned questions are usually answered by examining the available evidence, listening to what people say and investigating when something doesn’t add up. It’s a world of investigating evidence, checking witness testimony, following the rules and understanding what conclusions they lead to.

In Un-Go these kind of questions will arise as well but the show takes a rather…unique approach. I imagine we’re all used to the old red herring, but certain plot elements like
a creature that can force you to answer a single questions truthfully, thus negating the need for the usual interrogation methods. Another creature can project illusions, thus rendering all testimony suspect.
I suppose throwing these wrenches into the mix is supposed to make things more interesting for the viewer, but when combined with completely bizarre plot twists, character motivations and general wackiness the viewer ends up being bombarded by a lot of seemingly random-nonsense. The whole experience can lead to the brain shutting down, quite speedily I might add.

The finale episode of this show is no exception. It’s full of classic scenes where information (which conflicts with what we’ve been told previously) is suddenly given to the viewer, where our suspects gather in an classic ‘one of YOU is killer’ meeting, where bizarre and insane things present themselves as ordinary and by the end of the episode so many strange and ridiculous things have transpired that it doesn’t even feel like the characters are living in a real world. This isn't helped by the use of red herrings and other red herrings that
are caused by using supernatural beings
. In particular, it seems rather odd how
everyone just accepts the presence of spirits who have supernatural powers
but I guess that’s the power of Un-Go for you.

It’s quite interesting to think that the original writer of these stories died in the 50’s, as this work is so riddled with current (and future) technology. I guess they’re just window-dressing on the core story, but they’re fairly significant all the same.

Is Un-Go a terrible show? A terrible mess? It's certainly quite bizarre and often unintentionally hilarious. I think it's worth checking out just because they really take things to the extreme, but it's hardly something I'd recommend.

Well now we wait until April. This was a pretty nice episode. The anime staff must love basing designs of important side characters around Kanemecchi. First Shun's brother looked like Kanemecchi, and now the student, looks like he could be Kanemecchi's brother. The plots of the episode are always so touching, though it did make me laugh so much. Cant wait for more.

Squid Girl 12: Once again, they have the mysterious

show up at the end again... but this time to speak to Eiko. It makes me think that there's some kind of "mythology" to the manga and hopefully there will be an S3 that at least tries to explain what that all means.

But at least the seasons seem to have some continuity between each other... or at the very least, they decided to end S2 the same way they ended S1.
