Girls Bravo end

And suddenly, EPIC FIGHT SCENE. What the hell... Well, fun ending nonetheless. Kind of got to a point of "Conflict? What conflict!? We're all here to comedically rape each other!" Fun!

Not a bad show. Not a good show either, but as far as generic harems go, it was pretty solid. Standard and cliche without much deviation from typical tropes, but there were some great characters like the hilariously manly Fukuyama and the HNGGGG Ebi. Everyone else kind of sucked, but w/e. I'll probably read the manga because I am kind of interested in the overarching plot (if you can even call it that) and seeing more Fukuyama/Ebi.

Yeah... talking [C] blue balling there. Though
Though big tits and no face got one. Perfect Waifu!

I dunno man, the
Heracles guy got beat down, that was enough for me. The twins became nakama so a fight wasn't needed imo. Found it satisfying overall.

Everything is tsundere to me
It's nice that they didn't take this route. The show is very heartfelt and (dare I say), honest about human relationships. It may not have had much tension or conflict or whatever, but it makes up for it with simple messages of friendship and goodwill.

What am I to take from K-ON! thirteen episodes and an OVA later? It's slice-of-life to the core, with very little in the nature of outlandish to spice things up. In fact, the moments when it gets very animé-esque (
blue-striped panties and beach episodes
) feel out of tone with the rest of the cartoon. It presents a non-cynical view of teenage girls, possibly an idealisation of those years. It may be too innocent about its audience and real life, but at the same time it feels innocuous. I certainly don't understand the hate anymore -99.99999% of the fanservice is non-fetishistic. I would even say the show doesn't take enough risks. It would have been great to see these characters get into trouble a bit more beyond "oh Ritsu forgot something important again lol".

K-ON! was very enjoyable despite that. The animation is great and the gags (not jokes) were funny, the music catches you easily and, unless you totally believe nobody can look at fourteen year-old girls without some ulterior motive, extremely cute. K-ON! may not be the salvation animé wants, but it is the salvation animé needs if it wants to appeal to more people than stinky nerds.

You... You understand!

But
the fight happened. We just didn't see it. That's crazy blue balls right there, especially after the show Orthus put on in episode 10. Considering the newbie apparently fended them off makes it even worse since he could've used some crazy strategy like using the carts against them or something. And them being nakama now makes it even more awesome because there would be no malicious intent and all fighters would be smiling the entire time.

It's just poor handling of a potentially epic situation imo.

I've pretty much forgotten about everything about Digimon but that didn't stop me from enjoying Hosoda's debut as director. Is War Game worth checking out?

It's better than Summer Wars. A lot more concise and it doesn't get bogged down on details like a fucking truckload of family member that just don't get enough screentime.

Why do older anime's completely change the wording of scenes between the ending and opening of consecutive episodes?

They may still do it.

Not griping, just don't know where else to ask.

Are you referring to dubs? Otherwise I have no idea what youre talking about. Any examples?

I said Gah-dahmn @ Toradora's Blu-Ray performance. In a single week, that nearly triple's the overall sales for the series (If you take ther average of all the previous DVD sales from the original run). Makes you wonder why JC gave it such an awful budget and chose to focus so heavily on funding Index, especially when there's still additional material they could animate with Toradora that they've ignored for years now.

Why is Deva Zan still listed? I'm pretty sure the entire project has been canned. There have been no updated for like a year, and the official site no longer exists.

I actually really like the Usagi Drop shorts. Usually, things of this nature tend to be goofy one-offs, but these shorts actually feel like part of the show. I suppose that the nature of Usagi Drop's story lends itself to these more- you can do short 5-minute pieces like this and not have them feel rushed or out of place. They're effective complements to the main series which remind you why you liked it so much in the first place, which is really what bonus material should ideally achieve.

I don't normally like to ask this sort of question, but: sub vs. dub on Eureka Seven? Crunchyroll has them both streaming in their entirety.

http://www.crunchyroll.com/eureka-seven

Dub is actually pretty good.

Anyway going to Comiket on the 29th and 30th. Any advice? Also anyone know of a list of the major circles/artists that are going to be there? I used to use Hunting the Elusive but I don't know what the hell happened to that website.
