My brother from another.
The meh sign keep flashing in my head except for that one.
My brother from another.
Is there anything I need to know before watching Rurouni Kenshin on Crunchyroll? Like is it a complete (and faithful) adaptation of the manga?
Taniguchi da gawd already confirmed he's adding original elements.
EDIT - Can't believe he hasn't directed an anime series since R2 in 08.... Infinite Ryvius (1999), s-CRY-ed (2001), Planetes (2003), Gun x Sword (2005), Code Geass (2006), Code Geass: R2 (2008), Maria the Virgin Witch (2015).... long time between fucking drinks... I remember a lot of rumors from back when R2 aired about him not being happy with changes he was forced to make... pretty much everything he did for Sunrise (GunXSword was AIC iirc) was a hit (well maybe not Planetes.... think it still did 5k but that might be wishful thinking) and Geass became a juggernaut.... and than he stops directing and doesn't fuck with Sunrise no more? Weird.
My friend watched through it and told me that it followed the manga rather closely until the end of the Kyoto arc which was ep 62 as the manga wasn't finished yet, and continued on a long anime original arc. Cross Ange - 09

You're just too used to the old gang.
The new Rolling Girls PV is pretty neat.

The hell is this? I see zero instances of Mayu, Sachiko, Syoko or Koume, despite them being in the key visuals. Even a hint of Momoka would've been something. If you listen carefully you can actually hear my hype deflating. Also THE IDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls PV: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8u3jqcdrapg

I have neglected watching current anime that isn't named Ping Pong this year. The anime voting thread will probably open up sometime late next month, so I want to start my journey of devouring new anime (that are either almost done or are done; sorry, Fate/Stay and Parasyte). What are the top dogs for this year thus far?

Eh... I checked the first chapters of the manga because I liked Moyashimon and I can't say it was good...

Not a fan of the character designs. They look way too bland at times.

Wow Tamako and Mochizou together is the cutest thing ever. Tamako Love Story definitely is the best KyoAni movie they made, I cried a lot. Quite an uplifting and motivating film filled with cool camera works for an animated feature.

Nothing else this season even comes close to the mastery on display here.
...
This is the most entertaining show of the season, easily.
I disagree. They're nice and round, perfect for the kind of flexible and fluid web-gen-ish animation the trailer features.
