Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition

Is there any problem with the Pip-Boy Edition in Europe?
Neither my buddy, who ordered the XOne version on the german Amazon store has a shipping notice, nor i, ordered the PS4 version on the french Amazon site because imissed it when it was available on amazon.de.

Mine says "Out for delivery today" since yesterday morning.

... i think amazon.de had some similar problems earlier this year with Witcher 3, they really need to step up their game here.

Craaappp. So amazon is still saying it will be here by the end of today but i put the tracking number in UPS. And they said it won't be here till tomorrow. I know it's just one day but still.

Same thing was happening to me yesterday. And then at about 3-4 pm, UPS said it was "scheduled for early delivery" rather than on Wednesday.
 
I ordered via Amazon with Prime it says arriving by 8pm tonight but it still hasnt been shipped.Anyone know if this is gonna be an issue or is it cause they have an Amazon warehouse nearby so it'll get shipped today and be here by 8pm?

It won't be an issue. Mine always says that. They probably just didn't update your information. They will later or you'll just have it at your door.
 
Got my collector's guide being delivered by Fedex and my Pipboy being delivered by UPS today. It's funny that the guide is 5 pounds and the pipboy is 2.4 pounds. I guess the guide is pretty big then some 400 pages.

I am so ready! But will probably have to wait another 6-10 hours :(
 
About GAME preorders
UPDATE 1.10PM: GAME has issued a statement apologising for the continued wait for some Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition customers, and warned of a "short delay" before all orders find their rightful owners.

There's mention, too, of the reason that orders failed - due to banks and PayPal accounts not accepting payment to be taken, despite many customers insisting that their details had not changed.

Here's the statement in full:

“On Friday, a small number of our customers who pre-ordered the Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition online experienced payment issues which has resulted in reports of orders not being fulfilled.

“GAME can confirm that these payment issues were not caused by our systems, and instead arose due to customers' banks or PayPal accounts not allowing payment to go through. This is mainly caused by expired bank account details.

“At every stage, we have reassured our customers that their Pip-Boys have been reserved for them. Since Friday, our customer service team has been working hard to contact all impacted customers to ensure that as many orders as possible are fulfilled for launch day. Each customer has been, or will be, contacted individually to reprocess their order and we have extended the opening hours of our distribution centre and customer services to facilitate this.

"We have endeavoured to deliver all pre-orders in time for launch day. Getting in touch with customers individually takes time, and due to us being unable to outreach to some customers just yet, there will be a short delay for a few of them but they will still receive their order should they still wish.

“Our customers are incredibly important to us and we'd like to thank them for their continued patience."

Finally had mine turn up today. I don't know what I was expecting with it, but for the price you would want something half decent and it is literally cheap plastic tat. So disappointed with it =/

Both my Best Buy and Amazon Pip-Boy orders are on the truck for delivery!

I'm with you, amazon.fr still says "Out for delivery today" (via Google Translate), no dispatch e-mail, no tracking ... if it's still sitting at their warehouse then wtf Amazon? If not then wtf Amazon, too. How should i know where my order is being driven around?

My Buddy got his couple of hours earlier ... man i wish i didn't miss the CE when it was available at the german Amazon store ....

So I'm waiting for UPS to call me back. But pretty much i might be able to pick it up today from the sorting facility about 5 miles from my house.

Ehh mine said the same thing. I'm usually not one to get up in arms about things, but it seemed a little odd so I contacted customer service. I was told "Sometimes the packages get delivered before the information is actually updated" and that my package will 100% arrive today.
Still seems a little odd, but I know that Amazon does use some alternate shipping companies, like Lasership, when they are shipping overnight so maybe thats it. I hope anyway.
 
The Steam key isn't in the steelbook. It's on the back of one of the flyers behind it.

Mine arrived at work earlier, and I've redeemed the key and have the game downloading at home.
 
Mine says still preparing to ship. Has been this way since yesterday. They moved the received date to Thursday now though. I'm very disappointed in Amazon. Is there anything I can do about this?

Looking forward to my "cheap plastic", I know it's not going to be for everyone. But there were reactions and reviews regarding it that were up forever. So much so that you could've easily canceled your order if you wanted to. :(

Amazon uses all kinds of services not just fed ex / UPS / USPS.

Here in Seattle they can do 1 hour from the order delivery using these services.
 
Nearly sold it having looked at how crappy the quality is but all it took was one tweak and I'm keeping it now.

Although presumably not the case here given HT UK's post, it's actually not unheard of (NBA 2K9 comes to mind).

lol the disc that comes with Fallout 4 is little more than a fucking key disc. All you get is ONE disc and it isn't even full. There is only about 5gbs worth of data on the one disc and you have to download the other 18gbs off Steam.

Now I don't have a problem with the download myself but I think Bethesda are taking the piss big time here. They could have made things a bit easier for their customers by at least including two FULL discs of data which would only have meant a 5 - 6 gb download. But to only include 1 disc and then that disc is barely half full is a bit of a joke.

The Steam key code is on the back of the "Vault Dweller's Survival Guide" (though how you can call an a5 sheet a guide is anyones guess)

I've been foolishly keeping blind about this, plus it was a joint venture between me and my GF, she's happy with it, so at least there's that.
 
Ugh I think Amazon prime is screwing the pooch. They usually ship the day before release and it gets here on time. It said shipping soon last night and now it still says shipping today.

Probably gonna cancel it if I can get a copy from somewhere else.
