Ahh ok, yea i agree. The switch 2 for me is really thoroughly unimpressive. I purchased one at launch and was just not impressed by it's performance.

Yea you are comparing a stress point. we already know switch 2 30fps mode has drops and frame pacing issues so its not perfect as well.Good luck with that CPU

It looks like a decent port on Switch 2.
Having bought a Steam Deck recently, I can't really see the point of picking up a Switch 2 for these kinds of ports. You can get the whole Fallout catalogue on Steam Deck for less than the cost of this port and you have access to stacks of community mods to actually make them playable - plus you get proper analogue sticks!

and probably going to be fixed with the day 1 patch.

But 6600XT with its Infinity Cache is only 31% faster at 1440p than 5600XT

Is heavy for the PS4 cpu, not for the Switch 2 CPU.
I mean even 2 developers said switch 2 cpu is slightly stronger than ps4 so unless we see those setting probably 600p upscaled we won't know for sure. you're acting like switch 2 has a series s cpu. its extremely downclocked cpu.

Not on par with the Series S cpu, but better than the PS4, that's for sure.
I mean we would have to compare like for like settings in different games to get a real world comparison. You can't say its something that can't be done when most games are running the same fps.

That doesn't tell you much if the game has much lower lod and being upscaled from 540p with lower shadow settings. These are things developers would not do last gen but now 60fps is king.Especially with Fallout 4…

wait for a proper comparison by df and see how much such down graded it is. Look at skyrim 60fps mode is upscaled from 570p-800p looks blurry. And lod is down graded severely. Also, there no upscaling involved in fallout 4. It will be added next patch. The current situation is already miles ahead from ps4 base. And it dont even use dlss. Its already a done deal. The only question that is left, how will it.compare to ps5 and series s once its included. Ps4 or ps4 pro isnt relevant anymore at this point.

I'll give you one better since you like banwidth numbers
RX 5700 - 144 TMUs - 7.95 TFlops - 256-bit, 448 GB/s
RX 6650 XT - 128 TMUs - 10.8 TFlops - 128-bit, 280 GB/s
5700 is 72% of relative performance of the 6650 XT, for 73.6% of the TFLops, but 1.6x the banwidth. Seems like infinity cache is doing its job!
Why not vs RDNA 1 king, 5700 XT
RX 5700 XT - 160 TMUs - 9.75 TFlops - 256-bit, 448 GB/s
5700 XT is 85% of the performance for 90% of the TFlops..
