edit: aww fuck. You can't destroy a room if it connects another room to the elevator??! So much for my plan to reorganize my vault.

Had a look at it, seems like fun but I still don't exactly know how the SPECIAL stats work with each room. I will have a look later today.

I have people that are super unhappy or unhealthy but there is no indicator of how to fix that. Do you need to rest them or something?

Runs in the background, you can turn on whether you'd like to get notifications or not.

Seems like it's pointless to send dwellers out to explore without a weapon. Sent one out for like 15 minutes and all he found was 3 caps, lost around 5-10 health and only gained like 10% of his exp bar. Since he was unarmed, he could barely defend himself and only gained 20-30 exp per encounter. Gave him a gauss rifle and he had no problems killing things and was earning about 200+ exp per kill.

Believe you need to place them in facilities that correlate to their SPECIAL.

Tap the gear/vault entrance icon in the upper left, then find your exploring guy in the list and tap the red EXPLORING button to see his progress. You can recall him from here. Took my guy 7 minutes to come back home after being out for about 15 minutes.

ALl of my people are incredibly unhappy and I'm not sure how to fix that. I have plenty of food, water, and electricity but they're unhappy. They all complain about being tired and I have like five rooms for them to sleep in. What am I missing? Can you assign them time to sleep or rest?

Not sure if this will help, but one at a time, take one person and hover them over each of your facilities. Place them in whichever facility shows the highest number. If you see a + next to the number, then that means that person has a higher suitable stat than someone you currently have working in there. If you tap each facility and look at the bottom of the screen, you'll see which SPECIAL stat is needed for that particular one. Currently all my dwellers are placed in the correct rooms and have 75%+ happiness. Not a single one is placed in a living quarter. Believe living quarters are only used for increasing dweller and item storage capacity and being an extra room to place people that have nowhere to go. And obviously for making babies.

I remember reading long ago that while more people have Android devices, iOS devices have more app activity. But stuff like this makes me wonder... do they have higher activity because one side gets the shaft so much more often?

Meh. It's just a mobile game so I'm not particularly upset or anything, but it does make me wonder.

Anyone know how to get more people in my vault? Sitting at 1.5k caps, max resources, with 12 people in the vault and 1 outside. It says my Capacity is 18 with a double living dorms. Can't really do anything right now.

I have an iPad Air 2 and an OPO (Android) and this is possibly the first example I've personally seen of an app that I wanted available for iOS but not Android.

If I don't want to make any in-app purchases, will my enjoyment of the game be affected at all? If it will, I want nothing to do with this.

I'm currently sitting at 14/34 dwellers and haven't seen any new ones arrive. Thinking at this point, you have no choice but to breed new ones. Only other way I know of to get more is randomly from lunch boxes.

Just got a new person, guess they just start showing up way less frequently.

Yeah I've tried that. They seem to get a bit happier, but their health is cut in half and they're all mostly at 10% happiness. I'm a bad Vault leader T_T

Huh. The way it was being presented it seemed like anyone would be able to download it tonight. Sucks that I have android.

Here's hoping I still have hype for it whenever they get around to porting it.

Pity I can't re-arrange my rooms. I need to over exceed the capacity before I can demolish and even then you take a huge risk of losing resources.

They said in the video the purchases are for extra 'random item packs' and you do not need to buy anything, not even for 'action timer cooldowns' or things like that.

Hearthstone was first on iOS. There are less iOS devices to design for, so it makes sense for them to release before Android.

I was #1 in the world for the first hour. Then SolidGrace overtook me. :c

The amount of port begging in this thread is disgusting.

That said... how the fuck do I play this game. I get that each dweller has a SPECIAL rating, but how do I know what room to place them in? What do the numbers mean when I hover a dweller over a room? There seems to be +n, -n, and n. I have no idea what I'm doing.

It's not really port begging when they announced it was coming to both platforms. They just really weren't that clear about when that was, just that it was supposedly coming "tonight". A simple "and will also be available on Android in the near future" would have cleared up most of the confusion.

How do you get more residents to show up at your door? I've been stuck at 13 residents for ages, and can't really send anyone else out to explore as my base is barely keeping up with the low stat individuals I have now.

And yeah, I'm not normally at the front line when new apps are released so I'm sure I've missed out on many 'illustrations'. I was more thinking of the popular claim that iOS destroys other platforms when it comes to apps. Though maybe that was true once yet people still throw it around

Meh, I was pretty excited but ended up uninstalling it after about an hour. I don't really like this kind of gameplay. Especially the part where you need to open the game each 5 minutes to collect resources...

Game is designed to be played in rather short doses and come back later. Got my 14th dweller after about 2-3 hours in real time.
