Heard they had to rework the whole game because Inafune is an absolute hack.Spending all this time to make it, delaying it constantly, and NOT having a Switch 2 version ready for launch is the most Level-5 thing ever. This company always finds ways to fuck their own games over.
For the record, what I'm saying is this games hype is probably being sucked away by Switch 2 launching a week later and Level 5 is missing the boat. It's inexcusable considering how they are a heavily Japanese focused studio.
With that said, I'll be there day one when it launches on Switch 2.
That's where I'm at. I'm really resisting the urge to double-dip on PC and Switch, but neither is a great option since PC has weird kernel-level access and Switch / PS5 is digital only. It's like they really don't want me to buy this game since I'm having to decide on the least bad option. No physical on switch is preventing me of buying. What were they thinking ? It could have been the perfect game to release a special edition.
Sounds like a good podcast game to me.I caved and picked it up last night. Played through all the tutorials for the available classes (farmer and artist are locked at the outset). It's cute and has a plucky/upbeat attitude. The only negative so far is the music which I'm finding dull and forgettable.
It's a matter of time until a physical is announced somewhere. Let's hope !That's where I'm at. It was mentioned earlier in the thread, but Japan got physical copies that are region free and have English on the disk / cart. It's a matter of time until a physical is announced somewhere. Let's hope !

What are the chances one gets banned from Steam when bypassing the EAC?To anyone wondering, the GameBootstrapper.ini file can be modified to bypass Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC).
Code:ApplicationPath=Game\Binaries\Win64\NFL1-Win64-Shipping.exe WorkingDirectory= WaitForExit=0 NoOperation=0
Replace the contents of the GameBootstrapper.ini file (located in the root folder of the game install - e.g. "D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FANTASY LIFE i\GameBootstrapper.ini") with the above, and no more EAC.
With this in mind, I did end up purchasing the game.
Does it still get installed (along with the game), or do you make these changes before launching the first time and then Easy Anti-Cheat never gets installed? To anyone wondering, the GameBootstrapper.ini file can be modified to bypass Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC).

Any impressions for how this runs on the Switch yet? Or are all the early impressions just on PC right now?
I've heard people are getting banned from online for using these so if you have any plan to play online I wouldn't.Someone reverse engineered all the "Gift Codes" / passwords in the game, enjoy

No physical on Switch 1?! WTaF?No physical on switch is preventing me of buying. What were they thinking ? It could have been the perfect game to release a special edition.
There is a physical but only for japan however the japanese version has full english in there as well.No physical on Switch 1?! WTaF?
The only issue is that, while you can play the JP version on an NA/EU Switch in English, some Switch games are locked to their region's online store (or rather, each region has a different version of the game, and each region's store only services that version). There is a physical but only for japan however the japanese version has full english in there as well.
Yaah that's true if you try to buy any dlc it'll try to take you to the jpn eshop same with english games on a jpn account. Not sure what DLC fantasy life uses but i think there is some as the game when you order it comes with some extra DLC as a preorder bonus on amazon japan. The only issue is that, while you can play the JP version on an NA/EU Switch in English, some Switch games are locked to their region's online store (or rather, each region has a different version of the game, and each region's store only services that version).
So for any DLC/Switch 2 upgrades, you might be out of luck. It just depends. Some imported games don't care (they're all the same version regardless of region). Probably best to wait for first-hand reports.
Any impressions for how this runs on the Switch yet? Or are all the early impressions just on PC right now?
I broke down and ordered the Japanese import, so I'll be in this camp. Will definitely want to upgrade to Switch 2 when that becomes a thing, so I'll let you guys know if I'm able to or not.The only issue is that, while you can play the JP version on an NA/EU Switch in English, some Switch games are locked to their region's online store (or rather, each region has a different version of the game, and each region's store only services that version).

Nope, I'll jump in tomorrow after work. Been reading some threads on 4chan tho and people seem to be really loving the game, claiming is a step up from the 3DS one in every aspect, specially when it comes to QOL features.Anyone playing this early? How is it so far if dipped on the deluxe version?
Hope it runs well on the deck then. Will be out of town for the switch launch so deck it is!Nope, I'll jump in tomorrow after work. That, plus the game apparently selling like hot cakes on Steam have me really excited.
Some dude on Steam says it runs at 60 maxed out but I've also read some people turning down a few settings to keep that framerate.Hope it runs well on the deck then. Will be out of town for the switch launch so deck it is!
Oh...it has cross save too? Insta-buy....I just read the OP again, that's great in my case.

I caved in aswell, ah well what use is money if not to have a good time. Will this game help me in finally getting a life?
Nah but really, been checking the game out since yesterday and I'm quite hyped about it. Cleared the game I was currently playing so I'm ready to dive into this grinding rabbit hole.
Jesus Christ!Nintendo was handling the physical release in the West as part of the exclusivity agreement.
When that ended, Nintendo was no longer interested in helping a physical launch.
I know, a game by Level-5 without a physical release is depressing afNo physical on Switch 1?! WTaF?
Switch and Xbox versions didn't have "advanced access", so they won't release until tomorrow.Any impressions on the Xbox version?
I don't have a PS5, and getting this on the Switch 1 seems imprudent. I plan to get the Switch 2 but do not have it pre-ordered. I expect it will be half a year or more when it becomes available, given the demand.
Perfect portable game.Speaking of Steam Deck, this game just got fully Steam Deck verified
