Sony fanboys get pissy when I say this thinking I'm been vindictive but Sony are digging their own grave by releasing games on PC. M$ have done dozens of disastrous poor decisions regarding games; but one of the biggest ones was to Let Xbox exculsives come to the PC. The Xbox division should've forever stayed only xbox, mixing with PC has made owning the console neigh useless for anybody not already in the ecosystem.

A possible turn around for xbox is for them to suddenly make every single game released from M$ owned studios xbox only from now own; ABK, Bethesda and all. Drop PC as well and force people to buy the console if they want to play the games unless they will be windows exclusives like a strategy game or something.

If I'm at Microsoft, I don't care how you purchase our products, so long as I get your money. The games are (unfortunately) not on MacOS, they're on Microsoft Windows, so it's win-win.

Sony are correct to also go 3rd party and release on Windows. Hardware margins are very slim (outside of the Pro) and with the rising cost of software development, they need to push sales on PC.

This is not about the dumb shit most kids here argue over: "omg haha this corporation is my team" it's about profit.

At one point, investors wanted Microsoft to sell of or shutter XBOX (myself included), instead Microsoft went the recurring revenue model. Additionally, they're boxing an audience out of MacOS. Meanwhile, Apple has been slowly dipping their toes into gaming at a glacial pace.
