He is only making it worse
Welp. Who didn't see that coming
Silent guy from season one.Who did Nikki sit down next to on the bus?
I thought that's who it was.Silent guy from season one.
Who did Nikki sit down next to on the bus?
Silent guy from season one.
Mr. Wrench from the first season. They even used his music, too!
Is that Russian hitman just really pompous? It seemed needlessly ballsy to hang out in the library like that when he could have stolen the file with the cop never being the wiser.
Yeah. Attempting a second assassination immediately after you botch the first one IN FRONT OF A COP is ridiculous. Also, I really liked Sy's "the world" scene. And did I mishear, or did he refer to Ray as a "libtard"?All three bad guys just seem insane in their pretentiousness and posturing. A WOLF MASK? Really? Really? Their plans are wretchedly bad too.
Its almost at this point like the three have a running bet on who can get the highest level of wanted stars in GTA Fargo and then escape.
I really enjoyed both the first and second season, how is the 3rd one compared to both? Is it as good? I'm thinking of waiting until all the episodes are out before I start.
Without spoiling so much, how is this season?
I love season 1 and 2,this is better, worse or at the same level?
I'm enjoying the show well enough but the sum of its parts isn't really working. Some great acting, directing, writing...all at times. Overall I don't find myself caring all that much.
Too many stupid things happened this episode:
- breaking into the library before the police officer had already left in his car, and then confronting the officer head on in the library
- the army police officer not believing a link between the murders even after the attempted murder and CCTV going down
- Emmit Stussy wearing the shirt with his brother's blood on it
- Emmit Stussy giving away so easily that he already knew his brother was dead
- A second assassination attempt immediately after the first which would have had a very poor percentage of coming off
I'm still enjoying the show, but the plotting is much more contrived than the previous seasons

-He was probably already in the library, didn't break in only after cop left. Probably broke in while the station was closed previously.
-St Cloud police literally have probably never seen an attempt like that, still don't know what was in the syringe, and yeah sometimes electronics do temporarily have issues. It's not weird for them to be confused by a potential elaborate conspiracy.
-Emmit had to leave the scene of the crime immediately to establish an alumni.
-Emmit was over eager in trying to establish that alibi, was clearly somewhat drunk, and likely in a state of shock from just killing his brother.
-Varga knows that Nikki can point a finger at his goons so it's better to just kill her to minimize any possibility of blowback. He also knows that she can point to a feud between emmit and Ray about the stamp, so it would basically make Ray a viable suspect if that whole plot is discovered, which obviously Vargas doesn't want.
The most unrealistic thing is that the prison bus did not have a police cat escort in case something happened to the bus. That oversight was worth it though imo for the action and surprise of the scene, and intrigue if Nikki can get out of it. Imo at least.
Basically nothing you said is actually contrived though. If you don't think cops tend to just stick with a suspect even if there is compelling evidence of another suspect I don't know what to tell you. It's how people get wrongfully convicted all the time.
"leftard" I heard.
sy, nikki, gloria are the best characters this year, everyone else is kind of naff now ray is gone. maybe mr. wrench too purely on the virtue of him being from a better season.
So why was the door the policeman just locked unlocked when he went back?
This Sheriff guy is unrealistically dismissive. I get him being a hardass or thinking he's a better cop than Carrie Coon, but it's kinda dumb now, dude is going so far that it's not even entertaining or intriguing, just poorly handled.
[edit]
Like, why would she have a syringe? Who handcuffed her? Who was that guy that just ran by you and then isn't seen again? Why did the video cut off the SECOND that guy walked in? Oh, it's a glitch...
Fuck off.
Season 1 had Bob Odenkirk's character doing something similar but when he noticed things didn't actually make sense, and it couldn't just be handwaved away by saying nothing is happening, since something VERY clearly was happening, he let the investigation happen. Varga could walk into that place, kill Carrie Coon, and he'd still would say nothing is happening just because reasons.

Hey i asked my brother about this and hes been working at a prison for years. He said prison buses dont have to have a police escort. The most unrealistic thing is that the prison bus did not have a police cat escort in case something happened to the bus.
