Oh shit this is using HD rumble! I'm gonna have to pick this up then. Already have it on WiiU and wasn't going to double dip, but that pushed me over the edge.

Well this might just be the game that makes me keep my switch pre-order great job, hope they made the game a bit easier tho since I like playing games casually.

I think I'm gonna pick up a $50 eShop card at Best Buy when picking up my games. $20 for Snipperclips, $20 for Fast RMX, and just leave the remaining in $6 in my wallet for future use.

Double-dipping for sure. Picked the Wii U version up on sale and loved it but never finished it and never got the DLC. This will be a great second game to play along with Zelda.

If people can't tell I'm a huge Shin'en fan, bought FAST Racing Neo both when it came out and when it got a Nintendo Selects release. Don't have a picture of my copy but it's hidden in my Wii U stack:

Nintendo Selects usually kicks in after around 2 years so lets hope Switch continues the short lived eShops Selects branding.

First of all we were able to drop all the tricks that we needed to make FAST Racing Neo run at 60fps at all.
I'm very curious to see the final build now as the version I played in January absolutely featured the same type of image quality as Wii U (with jumping pixels visible while standing still). I assume the launch version is cleaned up all the way then. Very interested to check it out.

Sounds like it was an old build you played:

Hearing that they apparently rebalanced the difficulty for RMX makes me interested. I liked Neo on Wii U but it was just brutally difficult.

Damn, I was expecting at least $40 maybe $50. I was going to buy it anyway, but now I'm even more happy to pick this up at that price.

Great price, might end up buying despite me wanting a physical version.

Played a lot on Wii U and it's a terrific racing game.

North America didn't get a physical release and I fell like they may have missed an opportunity for some sales by having some Physical Switch versions on shelves at launch. I know I would definitely have bought it at launch with a Physical version. Now I will still get it but may wait some.

Edit: Additional sales. Hopefully it will do good regardless.

Was it still sub 720p?

If the early impressions are positive about the difficulty, then I'll consider picking it up again. I really didn't get far in the Wii U version, so there's a lot of stuff I still haven't done.

Out of curiosity has the price sold anyone on FAST RMX or were you sold anyway?

I heard the name and saw some brief footage/details before, but I was largely uninterested before seeing the price (knowing I'd completely walk past a $40+ price tag). Now that I know it's $20, I'm looking into footage online to see if I'd be interested in purchasing it for the Switch.

So, a lot more "sold" than I was before.

It looked it but, based on a comment above, it sounds like the demo was simply an old build and the final version has none of those issues. Very cool.

Having a game like this on a portable system is nuts.

Hell yeah, it is!

I'd love it if you could do a comparison with the Wii U version after release btw.

You are damn right
Man, this thing will screw my wallet with double dips so many times..
Even MK8 deluxe was such a pleasure in portable mode..

Great price, and that is too cool about HD rumble!

Is there a way in the game to change the camera so it follows a straight track instead of curving to follow the car?
