DualSense.

What I think is remarkable is that the PS controllers have gotten better with each console generation, through iterative changes.

DualShock - Dual sticks and vibration
DualShock 2 - Pressure sensitive buttons
DualShock 3 - Wireless
DualShock 4 - Weight, size, and the touchpad (hmm, maybe?)
DualSense - Weight, size, comfort

Only controller I really like from them is the PS Vita. It has a great d-pad.

I think I would like the dual sense more of it didn’t have the dumb track pad and wasn’t so big.

GerAlt-Right. Ciriously.
the Dualsense is a pretty awesome controller. It just has shitty battery life.

Still my Xbox Elite 2 Core white controller is my favorite.

Definitely the Dualsense. But not for the haptic trigger as I turn those off. But the overall haptic feed back is nice and I like it the best because it's fat and heavy. Not to mention USB C.

The second generation Dualshock 3 was heavy too which I loved.

anything but the ps4 and ps5 gamepads

DualSense and DualSense Edge have got to be the best controllers. They've almost reached perfection and each iteration of their controllers has been great. DS4 was a major evolution over DS2/3 and DualSense/Edge were also a major step forward over DS4.
