not really surprising, ghostface/meth/odb were the main 3 that were into the sketchiest shit.
I remember reading an interview where Meth said that he was always a peaceful dude that didn't get into much trouble with the law aside from weed possession. Plus it seems like the other members treated him like the young kid of the group, check this video of Ghostface and U-God sonning him :lol

Back when ALLLLLLL 10 of them were on fire, yes even U God..wtf happened to him post Wu Tang Forever????

If I recall the album is pretty awful.

I'll agree, Mr. Xcitement was a terrible album. However, his next album Dopium was dope as hell. It may not be in the top ten of wu-tang's discography, but you can't deny these tracks:

Wu Tang (Feat. Method Man)
Stomp The Roach (Feat. GZA & Scotty Wotty)
Dopium
Train Trussle (Feat. Ghostface Killah & Scotty Wotty)
New Classic (Feat. Large Professor)
God Is Love (Feat. Cappadonna & Killah Priest)

get this ish.

BROOKLYN....ZOO!!!

I knew these guys rolled hard back in the day when I had sneaked into a Wu Show back in the day. They locked the door of the club in case there was trouble. I've got stories for days and fond memories of that concert.

Mase? Mahahahaahaha What the fuck crawled up his ass to think he (a) had the right to talk shit on the clan, (b)had some type of gripe, (c) was dumb enough to think that was a good idea? lol

Seriously I can't even understand how Mase and Wu-Tang would interact. lol

You don't mess with the guys from the Shaolin Slums!

Ghostface brought the smackdown on that poor idiot. Kanye even disses him about it years after he quit the game.

I haven't looked at it in a while. I think they were looking into a possibility that a Jewish group was responsible for his death because they had tried to extort money out of him and I think they did extort money out of Eazy-E and other rappers.

Its not really something you'd expect to happen to rappers lol.

I recalled the guy who managed NWA (Heller) used the JDL for muscle protection from Suge. Never heard about the extortion.

Yeah. I thought it was interesting because of that but the file itself is pretty shitty. I think they may have only been looking into it because of a connection between the JDL and a terrorist bombing.

The one on Biggie is a lot bigger but I've never looked at it.

Edit: The biggie file talks about Tupac a lot. It says it's alleged from several sources that Tupac was killed because of how much money Death Row owed him ($10,000,000+) and he was going to leave Death Row with his unreleased recordings so they basically killed Biggie just because they needed to make it seem related.

That's pretty much what I always thought but people will always say that Suge wouldn't be dumb enough to be in the car when they shot him.

Sums up my thoughts on it too, but I can't imagine Suge put himself next to Pac unless he had professional assassins taking the shot. lol

Addressing the original topic of this thread, Wu-Tang is either full of liars or a criminal organization. (Or poets who talk about it as if they were) I'm just saying, Raekwon probably didn't earn his name "The Chef" because he is skilled at preparing culinary delights. Just a hunch.

(I'm a big Wu-Tang fan. 36 Chambers is immaculate, but I think Liquid Swords is a tighter more polished record)

I'm willing to bet he thought the people doing it were good and he knew it would be the perfect alibi.

I think everything was planned out. Orlando Anderson was just a scape goat to throw the attention onto a gang war and then biggie was killed to throw it on to east vs west.

Then the rumors that Suge told him to take off his vest because it was so hot and the fact that he drove in the opposite direction of the hospital after Tupac was shot until the police stopped them.
