Fellow Americans: Do you get sick of hearing British accents on TV?

I honestly hardly notice it unless it's a singular character with an accent meant to distinguish them or something
 
Not all of them I hear are English. There's a lot of Irish, Welsh, and Scottish mixed in with some of the programming I've watched over the past 20-years. I like hearing the different English accents and then there are those Northerners. I miss seeing Brian Glover. That guy was really proud of his Yorkshire accent and had the personality to boot with the TV and movie characters he played.

I remember when he popped up in ALIEN3, random bizarre casting. 😂 Tetley Tea goes into space.

Regarding accents you can't beat a sexy Southern Belle American girl or a horny Welsh lass. 👍
 
Always thought it was because there's a strong history and lineage of higher brow stage acting in the UK which is where a lot of these folks come from?
 
Really? You probably don't realise it but a really strong American accent can be very grating.

Usually on TV it's not too pronounced.

I don't mind the southern accent for instance.
