I will see it dark10x. Hell, if the unit has the games I want (that I can't get anywhere else), I will buy it. I bought a PS2 on launch day. Hell, I had it pre-ordered damn near a year before it was released.
This time though, I will wait and play it. I am sure there will be demo kiosks in the stores at/around release.
Sony may very well be teh HYPE MACHINE, but they did indeed follow through on a lot of their promises. Games like SH3 or even MGS3 lived up to things like the FF8 and Ridge Racer girl techdemos. The screenshots posted speak for themselves... you really can't argue after seeing those.
What is that Square Enix game that someone posted a pic of? It's beautiful.
Diablos, all the character models in that demo are straight out of FFXI, so it's either pure graphic demo material or some work-in-progress FFXI expansion that will have upgraded environments in the X360 version - at least that's the speculation.
I have never believed in playing MMORPG's because of the time and money it makes you waste, so if the final product looks like this I'm gonna be suffering.
Haha, Nintendo is about 10 years late on letting gamers play classic NES, SNES and N64 games. The ZSNES team must be saying "shit, you're so late we can't even be jealous."

How is it that Capcom could look at RE1 and relise how badly it aged and decide to remake it yet SE can look at FF7 and not notice how badly its aged?!?!
If they are going to release tech demos that look fantastic, they shouldn't launch the console with games that don't even come close to touching them. That's just not right.
Why are you comparing first-gen games to demos meant to showcase the technology stretched to it's absolute maximum. Because, you know ... that's what tech demos are.
