You are forced to play it in Rebirth? As long as it's not tied into the main story in any way, I'm cool with whatever they do with it.
I messed up twice thinking that it was a mandatory part of the progression. Took me over an hour to win the games. Man, I was pissedAs long as it's not tied into the main story in any way, I'm cool with whatever they do with it.
You're never forced to play it, thankfully. You can always skip the games. You are forced to play it in Rebirth?
not at all, its fully optional, but its a blast and I love it!You are forced to play it in Rebirth?
I didn't play Remake and Rebirth yet, just the OG.

(I say this as someone who is crap at these sorts of things, and avoid them like the plague)
Suggestion for your first playthrough: Rebirth is LONG, like, to do everything 130 - 200 hours depending on how fast your play. I HIGHLY suggest ignoring or only going surface deep into a lot of the side quest/content on your first playthrough. Prioritize the story objectives and keep the game and plot moving, it'll still be a 70 - 90 hour experience, and then on a replay of the game do all the side quest. Many people got burned out of the game 3/4 of the way through because they prioritized side content, when honestly its wayyyy better to play the game a 2nd time and not feel like your killing the story pacing by doing the side quest.Amazin.
I think I will love it, I love Triple Triad, for example. But if I end up hating it, being required to play it would be a drag.

I'd honestly do the same with Remake, Remakes side quest are... not good, mostly all fetch quest with very little story connections. I'd mostly ignore them as there is no reward (other than some outfit selections for certain characters during certain scenes) that matter. Prioritizing the story and keeping things moving will make for the best experience, and going right from the linear Remake into the wide open Rebirth will be an experienceThank you, wrote a note here!
I still need to play Remake, so I might forget.
Same.I messed up twice thinking that it was a mandatory part of the progression. Took me over an hour to win the games. Man, I was pissed![]()
This post needs to be revamped.what about revamping the awful textures and lighting in rebirth?
Such a shame these sales numbers. It'll sell more in the long run, same with Remake, but I wouldn't blame if Square never made another remake on this level.97 metacritic 1.5 million total sales.

which would be great because it's an awesome card game!So the card game will be forced on the main quest again huh?
