I know right? And I get that this was two of the hardest bosses in SNK history pitted against each other, but even still look at high level KOF13 play. Same kind of crazy fast paced intensity even if it lacks the full screen Magaki energy attack for the pretty. KOF is a thing I am super pumped for this fall. Series is super fun the deeper it gets and one of the best to watch. Plus this time around inputs seem easier on execution than before from the stuff I'm hearing.

Just cannot wait to dive in. I been playing some of the older ones. Its always a very distinct jump from any of them to 13 for me. Game feels harder in 13, but damn if HD gauge is not one of the funnest things ever. It'll feel good though getting back to its roots in 14.

There shouldn't really be a question of there being more MvC someday. It's one of Capcom's most beloved franchises and the most recent entry made a lot of money. Licensing issues will get sorted out eventually.

Bitch about playing more matches in Smash. Push for more 3/5 matches at FGC events knowing while simultaneous pushing to be floated out of pools. Now, he is skipping the specific tournament he was trying to implement this shit.

Yeah, I'm pretty much done theorizing or imagining it. When it happens I'll be there same as everyone else. I'll be happy everyone got more of what we loved. The good , the bad, the fun and even the unfair was a great thing to experience. It made it all sorta grand or something having the FGC face itself, and the bullshit folks could create in the game only to overcome it and come up with more and more. Its an insult to the mind in terms of balance but at the end of the day its ballistic fun straight to the eyes and nerves as you play no matter how ass it gets.

Till then though I'm not really gonna let myself feel like I did for the first year I left it...which was to say like I was looking for a stand in for Marvel and never really replacing it. I'll take on the whole genre. See it for what each game offers unto itself. Learn what series feel like and which ones make me feel the most and stick to them and study and get a kick out of the ones I just visit for the cool shit they had.

I now have several series I consider "must play to the fullest main games" where as before it was only VS games like TVC or MVC. I feel better this way. I never feel like I have nothing left to look forward to or like the genre doesn't have things for me at events as a game fades out. Could I become better if I stuck to only one game? Sure, but I wouldn't have as much fun. I'd eventually over analyze the thing well beyond the fun zone trying to distill it to perfection like some sort of fun sucking animal who forgot how to just enjoy the whole game instead of trying to perfect something not capable of ever being perfected.

I'll be glad for more Marvel, but I'm happy with the current status of things. I've got plenty to enjoy these days.

Dark Phoenix Emma Frost. Dark Phoenix Cyclops. Dark Phoenix Colossus. Dark Phoenix Wolverine. Dark Phoenix Namor. And it would all be canon. Can't wait for MvC4. =P

Kenny Omega firing shots. I wish I could go to CEO since it seems like a great event and the antics this year sound like it has some awesome stuff down the line. Sadly my vacation days are spent on Evo and Xmas this year.

I really want to see Xavier Woods take him up on the challenge.

One of the topics we covered was the oh-so-hot eight frames of inherent input lag. Now, we recently heard Capcom Japan representative Koichi Sugiyama express that this was an intentional part of the design, but Rosas actually clarifies to the opposite.

"Actually, it's not a deliberate design choice," said Rosas when we asked why the delay was in the game. "I think that the interpretation of what Sugiyama may have said was incorrect."
