Could you go into more detail? Perhaps compare the two builds in finer details.
First big change is pretty easy to explain, supers do shit damage now. Even in the E3 build they were pretty weak, you could spend 7 bars in a combo with two level 3s and not kill a character, and that was THE E3 BUILD, the scalling is way worse in the gamescon build.
The second and bigger one was the removal of DBFZ's dragon rush combo extender. How it worked in the E3 build is you have this move called "Vanish", Vanish for the cost of a bar would wall bounce your opponent off the wall at any point. Early on people thought that shit was useless cause you can't reach the opponent after the wall bounce to follow up. This is because once you leave the ground you only have one homing dash and to convert off your launcher you need to use it. Then people figured out that because dragon rush dashed a little you could replace where you would have homing dashed with a dragon rush and extend the combo.
Now that's all gone. Dragon Rush when you try to combo it will just know them to the ground with no ability follow up. Vanish now has become useless as a combo extender for aerial combos. I literally would be okay with this if Vanish reset your homing dash instead now which would allow you to follow up but that's not the case. The big issue is they removed a mechanic that allowed for more combo freedom and did put anything in its place.
That combined with the weakened supers and you got a game where takes forever to kill just one character and most combos have been reduced back to
ABC homing dash BB double jump BB Special Super.
That shit isn't gonna fly in a real competitive game. People are going to get bored of playing and watching it real fast.
I'm voicing my concerns now so something can be done. I can see the path this game is on and it's not good for long term competitive play.
