Why is Triforce trying to sound like Spooky.

Go for hail mary Mighty Strikes while calling Bolts. Mighty Strikes go through Soul Fists. If he gets near Morrigan he can go for aerial command throw. Plus Bolts plus Mighty Spark can punish Doom for a ton of damage. If Thor gets Morrigan to block Bolts near the ground or at least be under her he can get in go for a command throw.

What I want to know is Doom's role on the team.

Does Dieminion even know what a command grab is??

Thor can link Tornado's together or he can X factor his Tornado and kill that way. Plus Strange can Projectile Counter DHC and still get a combo off of Tornado. SoV is just the easy mode DHC option.

It actually angers me more when Striders don't go for Ragnarok when they build up 3 bars against the last character.

I agree that FFVIII starts off good, which is part of why it's so terrible. It's one thing when a game was just under poor management, like FFXII. I can kind of excuse that going poorly because focus groups took over. But when creativity actually makes all of these dubious plot choices...

Some of the characters are good, some are bad. Seifer is goddamn awesome. I loved him through the entire game. I never had problems with Squall. Quistis, Irvine, Selphie, and Zell are all kind of just there. Rinoa is your female romance interest in a bag. What really made me sour about the characters was Laguna. Was a piece of shit character. I sighed every time the game warped to a scene with him. I was with Squall on that guy - what a loser.

I can't even see how the combat system could be considered a "hit", since it's a downgrade from FFVII in every way, which didn't even have a good combat system.

I stopped playing FFIV, so I can't comment. The game was brutally difficult after the twins died, and I just didn't care. I'll play the DS remake at some point.

Half of those plot points are explained quite easily if you were paying attention. The rest? You're spot on lol.

I'm not saying that they can't be explained, just that they're terrible, haha. Let's see...I was 14 when the game came out. I reckon that if a 14-year-old knows the plot is terrible, you've messed up.

I really don't understand the love for Laguna. I know people largely like him, and it's just incomprehensible to me. I found him insufferable.

I still can't comment on the FFIV stuff.

Coz you know, Thor and Strange are obviously godlike anchors.

Strange is not a bad anchor, he has crazy gimmicks that he can set up where he can cross up from full screen and get character kills. Once he gets a single kill he can snow ball.

Thor is ass as anchor though.
