AE pools EVERYWHERE nowdays at majors: Send a top player against a nobody and watch him get ass stomped on stream.
I think Canadian streams in particular tend to focus on showing whatever matches they have instead of hand picking the best, or maybe they're just nice to local talent to give them a shot but people end up playing nervous and fucking up. That's what happened with Marvel at April Duels today and happened at pretty much every recent major.

You can tell a lot of Marvel players who played today know their shit but were dropping stuff because they're nervous.

Do they know they are shit?

Or do they know their shit?

The use of "their" is very important in that sentence or else it changes the meaning completely.

They did bump a few Marvel fights to get them on stream (like Justin v Tokido), but since they were gonna broadcast pools for hours, you were bound to get some lowlights. That's every tournament.
Are you nuts? He might be monotonous, but he has a better read of every game than any other commentator. Guy always knows what he's talking about.
But he's shit at conveying it and spends half of his time saying "oh he messed up, oh he messed up."

He always needs a colour commentator there, or at least someone that drops knowledge more frequently or can do a better play-by-play than he does.

I think if you don't care for entertaining commentary, and want some of that informative stuff, RayRay/Justin Wong would be an amazing duo.

Justin will be the best commentator when he finally quits playing professionally, he has way too much knowledge.

Being knowledgeable doesn't make him a good commentator. He doesn't really articulate his thoughts that well and it seems to me hes always saying what he would have done in a particular situation.

His commentary is better when hes with someone he knows really well though.

The problem is that Justin Wong clams up when he's not commentating with his friends. It seems like he gets bored easily when he's around people he doesn't know that well.

You wanna talk about a bad commentator, listen to this guy with Gootecks. Guy obviously has nothing to contribute other than regurgitating meme bullshit. He hasn't said one relevant thing about the match.
