I know we are all making light-hearted comments and stuff but I really hope that didn't actually happen there. That has actually happened to someone I knew (they took one kidney so he was still alive).

But I am with you on that front, people should've asked for receipts at the beginning.

I don't doubt that the players had a good experience, if that's your angle. But don't promote the tournament and the stream like it's going to rival Evo if you can't live up to it. For next year (if there is a next year), VxG would do well to downplay the tournament and the stream and concentrate more on conveying that it's more about the experience of actually going. Otherwise VxG is gonna just get shit on again next year.

Sad that this actually true. Marvel's my favorite game to watch yet it has the most controversy with grand finals and all. I would be pissed yet not surprise if say somehow MLG did pick up Capcom FG and it was just AE and SFxT.
