Oh, I know. Even with parody law/rights, Marn would stand a very good chance if he decided to take Keits to court. But that would open up another can of worms entirely.

It's a parody. So as long as Keits doesn't acknowledge it is Marn specifically, anything that could be considered libelous is covered in Keits' favor. Think political cartoons.

Don't quite see how Mr. N is insulting Marn, if anything he's probably overjoyed by the free advertisement he's getting. And it's fair to say Mr. N is awesome and the best fighting game character ever.

As far as I've seen, Marn hasn't voiced his opinion on it.
My guess is that he's fine with the attention it brings.

There's only one person in this thread that brought him up. So he is either is Marn, has a personal vendetta against Keits, or both.
Or I would like some form of consistency out of one of the FGC's highest respected members.

Hagger doesn't work with out Chris as in he can't one touch you anymore and he's the team assist
I'm curious myself. I feel like the Chris matchup might be the most difficult and unfamiliar for people, and dealing with the zoning could be troublesome. Leaving Wesker + Haggar is pretty dangerous too. I can kind of see the argument for any of the 3 characters, though with Haggar probably least threatening.

Chris is a good anchor, and a good character, but he's not XF4 Wesker. I can keep track of Chris. With Wesker I get teleported behind and my hand can't even move fast enough to block from the other side when I know it's coming.

Chris is badly played by almost everyone who uses him and Predator is definitely one of those who has no idea how to play Chris. It's hard for Chris to be effective without the right assists. Don't even see why you would want to snap in anyone in his team, defeat his Haggar and he's free.

People wonder why no one likes VF on stream, for me it's the commentary. There isn't a really good UltraDavid or Yipes+Matrix or Rush Hour commentary team for VF that is both knowledgeable and entertaining. I really do think that if there were one or two really awesome VF commentators, the amount of people interested in watching would go crazy.
These guys have voices way more suited for podcasts than games that almost require hype to have viewers.
Everyone is having problems.

When I first joined the stream it didn't seem like many people were saying anything about it. Now that's all they're talking about. :lol
Shidosha is probably your guy, then. At least on the east coast. Not sure if there are any "hype" commentators for VF in SoCal. I'm told I do an OK job on the Southtown VF streams, though.
EDIT: Also, you have to consider that the level of play in the US is generally pretty low right now. The game is quite new even to veterans. Hence, the play is going to look a bit apprehensive and sloppy at times.

VF5 is way too technical and no frills to ever have a "crazy" amount of people interested in watching. You could pretty much say that for any 3D fighting game, they just don't have the appeal that the more accessible 2D fighting games have. That's why 3D fighting games have struggled to make a prescence in the FGC.

For VF5 on WNF, I liked the commentary tbh. Wasnt too over the top or crazy or anything but I can see why it would be unappealing. VF5 needs a fresh voice -- though Soakrates, Zerochan, Akuma001 and myself are doing our best up here in Norcal.

his zoning being so good is what makes me the saltiest. i swear it feels like that damn gunshot tracks you everywhere you are on screen. the otg assist shot lifting you up when he is so far away from you is the 2nd thing i really hate. btw i've played predator before and you definitely want to kill his wesker.
