Yeah I knew about the driver solution I was just curious about which one they went with or if they managed to do their own thing or what. I've always heard excuses about Sony updates and stuff so I figured no one would be using the driver solution

Good Kombat Kast, 16 Bit. All the characters shown off were nice, I'm particularly excited to see that Mileena has a little grappler in her.

I am eager to see much more from MKX.

Watching somebody's head explode isn't going to make me feel better about an aborted match. I guess they really couldn't figure out an effective way to motivate people to play through their matches.

man screw madcatz and their crappy pads. not only are they low quality crap but they then go and discontinue them and leave pad users out in the cold.

only reason i keep buying is because i got used to the damn things. i have an arcade stick i only used a few times and i don't like the xbox 360 control. i would try that new mk pad but i'm pretty much done with fighting games at this point. kinda wish they would release a pad with replaceable parts like their arcade sticks but that will never happen.

Playing more Dengeki Bunko. FInding it rather fun. Game's so much about resources and killing your opponent within a given time limit when you Power Burst and Trump still last. Only wish it had a bit more freedom on bnbs without assists, but it goes to show how useful they are.

I personally think the game is just fine, the kusoge stuff is just overblown jokes.

What makes me sad is that it's a few tweaks away from being a really respectable game, but... I guess they're never going to update the game again, are they?

As much as I love comboing into purple bursts I don't think Akira should be able to do it solo!

Don't get me wrong I would love a full fledged expansion/sequel
with a PC release.... please
but the game is pretty solid already, and doesn't need that many alterations to become a well-balanced title.

I just see all of those support only characters that would be so great to play so a sequel would be swell~

Yeah. Seems like they did absolutely whatever they could to prevent any kusoge elements tbh. Game's pretty honest for the most part. It's not until you activate Trump or incorporate bursts is when you can really get things going, and even then none of it is really dumb.

I hope they do another update. I do like the series Dengeki Bunko owns, so it's pretty neat to see them all in French Bread's sprites.

I have to buy a 40 ft ethernet cable in a couple of days. I'll probably start playing almost every night starting next week if you're down so I can crush some fools at NLBC.

So I'm learning about working on arcade cabinets and hardware now. Whoop. This stuff is simple but it's all so old and everything needs maintenance ;w;

Been looking forward to sitting down and reconnecting to Guilty Gear and SF4 all day. Come home, brother is visiting with his wife and kid... kids bedtime is primo FG time... and of course they are in the room closest to mine, no klackity klack from the button mashing tonight I guess.
