Shiki was badass tier in Battle Colloseum. Ain't no forgetting that. Solid AA, pressure and her divekick angles with those air slashes pressured like a boss. Her and Lee Pai Long was so fun to run together.

Love the highlight video clips. Is there a way to sort updates so the oldest post is at top and you can keep scrolling down? I guess that defeats the purpose of a live thread but I can rarely catch these tournaments live and this way it makes the thread easier to read afterwards

It's because twitch streamer's audience is on twitch, the switch wouldn't be smooth. For smaller personal use like streaming for friends or so, youtube is so much better right now.

that was owned.tv, the same guys who are running hitbox

they basically didn't pay out anyone they owed and peaced out, leaving some folks under several thousand dollars or something like that

hitbox lost a lot of support after it was revealed that they were run by the same guys

That's a huge part of it for sure, youtube did implement a donation feature recently, but it's US only so far I think.

Yeah. Twitch is going to have to make some missteps for people to drop it in favor of youtube right now.

I wouldn't say it's that bad already, youtube already have a bigger overall videogames audience than Twitch, if they manage to introduce them to live streaming properly, we'd have a real streaming services battle.

I don't even care about Xiaohai in general, but whoever was commentating started pushing that angle and it just annoyed me.

Xiaohai was probably the easy favorite and for good reason. I mean, whose victory over him wouldn't be considered an upset? In a tournament full of killers, no less? Misterio has had a solid reputation for being an excellent player in long sets and he had a chance to further demonstrate his skill here in a single-elim stacked tournament setting. That, and the fact that his team is fun to watch, was my personal reason for rooting for Misterio. He's been one of my favorite players for a while now and he didn't need to be the perceived underdog for me to care about him.

Gotta say, it felt pretty damn nice to see a team like Misterio's school all the tier whores.

there was a lot of Yuri stuff he did that was just mindblowing. And just the fundamentals displayed all around. I need to watch this again.
