Fighting Games Weekly | March 18-24 | FGC Kickstart 101: Cut a deal with the bronies

So is the DND port and Strider remake(?) the two games Capcom mentioned a few weeks ago?
D&D is one of them for sure.

The second is probably not Strider. Someone asked this on Capcom-Unity (warning, terrible English ahead):

Ok,let's suppose we don't know about that game leaked from Xbox and Steam named Stri... You know, that..

but, can I sart asking you to release any hd remake or whatever from the Strider franchise to Wii U, you know it's the tradition to see new games and ask for them.

and yes, Monster Hunter and all... but Darkstalkers, Arcade Cabinet, Remember Me, Dngeons & Dragons and etc.

To which Sven said:

You know I can't talk about such things... all I will say is that at least in one case, what you think you guys know, you don't really know. You'll have to wait for Pax.
Which is so cryptic even desk couldn't break that shit.

The name Strider with something similar to the Tekken logo?

Tekken x SF has turned into Tekken x Capcom. Kappa

My guess is probably some 3DS game. SFxT 3D edition?

Dear Lord no please.

You're talking to people who have been thirsting for a non-existant Marvel patch and some randumb "Dudes of Capcom" bikini calendar or whatever.
I don't get it, is there supposed to be a reason why we SHOULDN'T want that calendar?

Sounds pretty godlike if you ask me. I hope they delay DSIV for that.

Considering that it's Ono who is hyping it up, even less chance that it's a Marvel patch which is currently at 0.0000001% chance.

I have a better chance of getting laid by ScarJo or Joakim being Cliff B than a Marvel patch being announced at PAX.

Would of been more funny if you said you had a better chance of double teaming ScarJo with Cliffy B dressed up like Joakim.

Nah man I am better off betting on a Marvel patch than that.

Also what I would want to see in a hypothetical Street Fighter Manager:

*You are a new team manager and your job is to train a group of 5 top players. That number can grow when your team wins more.

*You can make deals with Sponsors to help you send players to tournaments for low cost.

*You have limited resources/budgets for all your actions. Sending players abroad to compete would take up a lot of cash. Likewise having them compete in numerous weeklies can fatigue them for majors.

*Budgeting time spent is also crucial. You also have to balance between lab time training, casual sessions and tournament matches for your playerx..

*Team Morale is very important and you want players who get along with each other and you. You also want players who stay in decent shape, get good rest and eat well before matches.

*Tier lists and match up charts are posted every month and they change based on the meta game. You observe the meta game and make changes accordingly. You can advise players to practice new current top tiers or play what they are best at (grapplers, zoners). Game is updated annually so you can gamble by having one of your player specialize in a low tier character that people have low experience against and the character gets buffed in the next iteration.

*If you have players put enough time in the lab they can discover new tech. You have the option to share the tech or keep it secret. Keeping it secret would mean that someone might counter it later on so you may not have a chance to practice against the counter. Likewise if you spend enough time browsing new videos/tech and researching that will boost team knowledge greatly.

*Online play would also be a factor. You can advise your players to play online for more match up experience but if they play too much it might affect their offline play.

*You can have one player specialize in multiple games but it will affect his skill in all the games he play.

*You can organize high stakes MM if you are low on cash and about to go bankrupt. Go big or go home.

*Secret boss fight against VxG Elite IFC Yipes. If you beat him you get to take your team to the beach!

Oh my glob.

Strider is one of the games, right?

Some shitty ios game is the second, right?

What we have evidence for right now is:
1. Dungeons and Dragons HD Collection. (2 Great Capcom Arcade Beat-Em-Ups-XBLA/PSN)
2. Strider Remake (XBLA/PSN)

However Sven said that atleast one of the two announcements won't be what we think it is... So it may just be one of these two, and something completely different will be announced..

I hadn't heard anything about an IOS game...

Both also have steam achievements (or at least there is a strider image on an unknown game) so PC as well.

Tessa Teaches Typing

An idea so good, it practically prints money. It's also the closest we'll ever get to a Red Earth sequel, not that anyone particularly cares (hell, I don't, and I'm the one namedropping it)

Oh my glob.

Love it.

There's Dive and Kick in the background that I just noticed.

I was reading this article on Divekick when at the end they explained what a fraud was by referencing Mike Ross' 0-5 loss against Jago.

Even casuals associate Miguel Rossington with fraudulence.

Well, he was the original 'fraud' - or rather, he was the first legit player people started to call fraudulent. They didn't call him Mike "Walk Forward" Ross for nuttin'. He only stays on top of two things: Street Fighter and goth girls.
