The netcode is the same as the console versions.
The gamepad support is busted; it doesn't like hat switches (d-pads on any controller with analog and a d-pad), and you can't remap confirm/cancel/Start buttons. But it's totally playable. Hoping they'll patch that, annoyed we have to teach another Japanese developer to test with more than one controller.

Played a couple matches on pad, I fucking hate pad and am terrible at it, and noticed a slowness people mentioned.

Good Lord...MKX on PC was bad but I think this tops the bullshit I went through with just framerate issues and stuttering. At least audio was loading from the correct memory locations and things were only slowing down due to poor optimization. The effects in this game are just straight up broken. I couldn't even make a guess as to how in the hell Guile's sonicboom did that or why Juri is making with the strobe stuff.
I don't even know if this is mendable...especially before EVO.

The game has a start button icon on the start screen for PS4. They even fucked that up, I'm starting to think they just mocked this all together last week and just said:
"People won't notice this right?"

Been burned too many times with online games and ports being done by random JobberCrew#Eleventy7.
Stop hiring outside shit stain companies to do these ports. They clearly do not know wtf they are doing. Waste of money, waste of time, bad stain on your reputation, and now?
90% chance I'm not day 1 buying SF5 unless that beta is through the roof amazing for online.
I hope everyone wisens the fuck up, says fuck you and your shit money grub horse shit, and runs the game on 360. If I was forced to play the PS4 version as a Decapre player I'd pitch a fucking fit at an event.
