Yea I've been doing the grounded FRC tatami combos already, since normally I can't follow up the normal tatami unless it was on counter hit or get the black beat. I was wondering which tatami combos he was having trouble with, because I've been trying to nail some ones down. Mid screen after FRC tatami and do jS FRC jD, I've been trying to land a air dash tatami to corner carry into more damage, but I think I've been hitting them with a tatami too high because the time they tech is around the time they hit the wall but can't get up there fast enough. Though different characters also need to be factored in because practicing combos against Sol and Ky I notice a difference even on corner combos such as following up a jD in the bnb with just an airdash into an extension.
edit: Just went to training mode this moment and just tried different distances to the wall. I was practicing at the distance as if I jump over them at the start of the round and that felt too high but I feel I can make that connect somehow. If it was normal starting position distances it's awkward because they would bounce off the wall and onto my other side, so I need to take that in account, but there is a sweet spot where it's rather easy. But I want to get this down so I have a corner carry at more than just the easy spots.
Bipson came first, Salty copied (although with slightly different mechanics on how to place bets). Bipson dropped it because of real life stuff and didn't like being copied.
WTF I missed Lee Chung x JaHa AND Chris Hu x JaHa?
At least I'm here for JaHa now. So glad to see him back.
Now I sorta wish Spooky would ban him from his chat.
I haven't even been trying the j.D FRC into iad tatami ~ combo. I'm not good enough to hit it so i just go and do another j.S j.D lol. You also GOTTA get her regular BnB down, you just need to go into training mode and get that tatami -> jump cancel -> j.p -> j.S -> j.D into whatever you want. All baiken players need to get that down if they want to well in AC+. What part are you dropping in that combo? i find if you super jump the jump cancel, its easier to land the j.p.
Depends, they haven't found out the most important thing yet: what time it's running at.Is the MK community salty about GUTS not having an Injustice pot bonus?

That girl just said something really stupid about S-Kill. This is why you probably shouldn't say anything about people you don't know.
Someone trash talking S-Kill?
Also watching Modok in Marvel feels right.

Just tried it, I was being a dumbass before on the meterless bnb and didn't try j.P but I'm getting the timing down. I also notice that if I do a longer string too long on the ground it makes the bnb much harder to land since it pushes them farther back like K S HS Tatami, while just omitting the kick it would be easier to land it. It's also nice that you get the meterless corner extension after j.D without wasting any tension with the bnb.
At least we got an interesting story/rumor out of it.That girl just said something really stupid about S-Kill. This is why you probably shouldn't say anything about people you don't know.

I just watched the archives and say what you will about Champ's behavior at times but that was a good interview and I'm glad they got him on.
Champ even acts professional when he's on OBS.
"He doesn't have to be African American, he could be some sort of mystical black."
Mike Z reviving the plot split controversy.
Edit: Now talking about Chris G.
Spooky and Art is going to be streaming at E3 with Mad Catz. Hope Mark can get some E3 exclusives on stream.

We're at a point now in the community that we can generate content by ourselves through the power of streams, youtube videos, and net play to generate content for others to view. In addition, there's things like glitches, combo videos and tutorials that people can generate to provide information to the community. Other eSports games get a lot of interest from streaming, and from that interest they are able to bring in sponsors to the fold. In addition, those sponsors are able to see reasonable interest in advertising the products they market to the viewers, because they products they market have some level of reach or interest to those watching.
Those players who wish to seek to make fighting games a way of life need to start seeking methods of generating interesting content or products to those who watch Fighting Games as an audience. This goes beyond the scope of running tournaments, unless by changing how tournaments are, you introduce things like panels, demos and industry content to those tournaments to provide additional value to those in attendance. Players need to generate anything that may appeal to those who watching. It could be art, bead art, custom stick material, shirts, glasses, anything that is relevant to those watching. What exactly? I don't know. If I did, I sure as hell would be following through with it and running bank on everyone. But there's gotta be something people can do to generate unique material that cause casual viewers to want to partake or are interested in it.
So it's up to players to generate interesting content or to create enough interest from sponsors to get them involved. This means, unfortunately, that we step up the professionalism of the individuals, and to become corporate slubs more akin to other eSports. Does this mean we cannot be FGC at heart? No, we can still be competitive and fiery and heated and in your face. But it means some of the other nonsense needs to be cut down. The bad attitudes, the intentional sabotage, the negative outlook that we give out on all things that we don't find appealing.
TLR Individuals, step your shit up and make yourself more marketable or offer a product of high value to those around, if you want to make this thing your job and your life blood.
If you're like me, this will be a hobby you seriously enjoy, but your main bread will come from elsewhere. Nothing wrong with it but realize we're all here for something different.
