Because people have different opinions and some people refuse to acknowledge and respect the opinions of others. Personally I haven't had the opportunity and experience to deal with a massive update and overhaul to a game I enjoy.

Maxi coming in a year or two

I still occasionally go back to that video because of how awesome it is.

If anyone actually wants to see what an esports event looks like, Dreamhack Winter is next weekend and features shops, a big old wedge of PC game tournaments for you to watch and SF4 run as a far smaller thing than it really should be. :P

Marked in my calender.

Holy Zangief Lariats!

GvG to GvG Next?
I'm fairly new to the Gundam games but wasn't the introduction of boost cancelling really divisive?

The bullshit with PM makes me glad the deal with CapcomFighters worked out so well for Marvel after Capcom had to act like it didn't exist when they lost the rights.

I agree with the "get over it" sentiment. Not in the "this game is dumb/bad/not my fave" way, but in the "you probably should've seen this coming and complaining won't really do anything" way.

Wiz has always ran tournaments, all the way back to SHGL days.

Maybe Wiz acts like a baby sometimes, but he runs the tournaments clean for the most part (or the Cannons really, haha). I want to hear his side of the story.

Even having stages to run across and streams to talk shit on in the first place, was going "esports". These things were not here before in the arcade days.

I don't get this hate some people have toward EVO. The Cannons started this from the bottom, grassroots. And grew it with their vision. Me personally, I like where they are taking it and what they have done.

Seems almost like people hating what is on top. Or that Batman quotes coming true in real life. You either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain, haha.

Thank you for the reply. I appreciate you responding in a levelly manner, that's all I really ask for.

Am I the only one flabbergasted whenever Yams makes a post like that?

I'm assuming you meant this as an insult...
Probably confused from my poor writing.

I accidentally ignored Yams when I meant to ignore Deckard a long time ago and I've never looked back. No foul intent Yams, it's just better this way.

Haha, I don't know if this was sarcastic or not but it hurts either way... ;_;
I get butthurt pretty easily when people just shit-talks me for no reason sometimes, whether sarcastic or not cause I can't tell sarcasm online sometimes.

Anyone who didn't see this happening with more Nintendo support/sponsorship in the scene was being willfully ignorant. It sucks for people who want to see Project M yeah, especially after last year's Apex event for it was so wild, but there's really nothing to complain about there.

I was talking about the few proud PSP owners in North America that might be feeling themselves like real OGs.

I am sure Japan just finds americas good for a laugh even if we weren't playing their games.

Oh

I had next on PSP

goml lost

I have never, ever, ever understood the stigma about going to a theater alone. Its even less social restauranteurs. You're in a dark room with a bunch of strangers looking at a screen. You don't talk unless you're an asshole. You can discuss it with a friend afterwards maybe, but the actual thing it doesn't really matter who you came with.

Best movie going experience for me is always when it's an empty theater, that's why I enjoyed the Machete movies so much.

We in community yet?

Eating alone is cool. Going to the movies alone is better.

Absolutely. Glad I shook the stigma of doing things alone when I was younger. It mostly stemmed from neven being able to reliably depend on people to coordinate meet ups so I just started doing what I wanted on my own.

You nailed it. btw I need to start going alone to theaters because I become the talking-mid-movie asshole if I have company

I had a friend who didn't even wanna go to fucking 7-11 alone. Shit was literally up the street, he was fiendin' a slurpee, and he ended up not going just because I didn't feel like it.

All my screenings are solo and I wouldn't have it any other way. Entire place to myself.

has anyone actually used the online training room with someone else on SF4?

i kinda of want to try it, but whenever i find someone online they just wanna throw down like regular

I'm loner for life. I love going to movies by myself as well. I watch what I wanna. I don't talk to anybody in there anyways. Plus getting an empty theater, and getting those sweet middle/mid high seat. Fucking cool man.

Had a good friend like that in high school. "Come with me man" all the time. Couldn't even go to his locker without coordinating some base level of socialization and companionship. Some niggas are hella extravert

I forgot it even existed actually.I *do* remember people acting like it was a huge deal when it was first announced, but then not a peep was heard a week later.
