Fighting Games Weekly | September 17-23

The thing Marlinpie is overlooking is that Justin Wong/PR_Rog wouldn't be on team West Coast, because they aren't originally from the West Coast.

And I think they'd keep it like Nocal/Socal.

We announced the Xbox app at E3 this year (the new Twitch logo actually debuted in Microsoft's conference). It's coming along great and should be out by end of year. When it comes to 3rd party apps, Microsoft is actually very welcoming of content outside the Xbox world. So, just like the Twitch app for mobile, if it's live, you'll be able to view it on the Xbox app later this year.

Hopefully it's a worldwide app and not just the US since Internet Explorer on Xbox doesn't support Flash - it would be perfect for me and other friends to watch tourneys live for those without a PC nearby.

P.S.S I thought CC was going to be bigger like 2 Japanese team, 2 Europe team, 2 USA team, Singapore again, maybe HK throw China into the mix etc..

Doubt they'll want to spend a fortune inviting no names over and repeat the bloody 895 nonsense again, especially now that AE is a lot less popular.

whoa I just got big ads on Twitch that were a huge overlay over the webpage

WTF

semi related, I got a message on youtube today giving me a CHOICE for which ads I wanted. Either two 30 second commercials or one 1 minute commercial.

what the actual fuck

I could be wrong but I believe AE has always been more popular in Calgary. With international players coming and the team tournament happening, AE will probably be the game to watch that weekend.

Perhaps this will suit the Valley Stream Monsters description:

"Valley Stream Monsters is the official gaming group of KombatNetwork from Valley Stream, Long Island New York. KombatNetwork is a streaming company that specializes in Mortal Kombat and is brought to you by OGs with 10 years of tournament playing, organizing and running experience. VSM airs new, competitive and casual Mortal Kombat gameplay live on Twitch.tv every Thursday at 8PM until midnight or later."

Taken from KombatNetwork's website.

In that case I disagree with RayRay because Drews Viper and Strider were among the best there are and his Vergil was solid too.

Man, just checked out the twitter fight.

That's some stuff right there.

EC/WC aftershock is gonna be crazy if people don't settle down

Poor flux lol

Hulu did something like that. Fewer longer commercials or shorter more frequent commercials.

Fuck Hulu.

I actually like when they give the option to choose. I always pick the scientology/movie trailer, browse gaf then watch the uninterrupted program. The frequent breaks on WWE Smackdown make me wish I still had a traditional TV though.

FChamp just announced that on Saturday night of Seasons Beatings he will be money matching ChrisG in a FT15 high stakes. He said he's gonna really train for it. He's really hyping it up.

edit: beaten like CJ Showstoppa after Aftershock

Season's Beatings Champ vs ChrisG FT15 high stakes MM!

One of the few matchups that deserves a high stakes MM, honestly. I knew Fanatiq would body Ray Ray the moment that shit was announced. This on the other hand... if I had to put my money on anyone, it would be Champ, but I think this is going down to the wire.

15-13 Champ.
