I never understand Smash players loves of doubles. [Which CEO dropped this year in order to streamline events]. They never treat it as a serious event. They drop it out all the time, pick teammates at the last second, and will totally fuck around even in late round matches.

Yet, it's a reason to not attend an event?

It's bad enough that Chris G is playing on stream. (It's top 8, it's unavoidable).

The commentators should not be trying to fellate Chris G when he is playing though. There's no reason to make people think he's a good guy. He's not. People commenting need to stop pretending that he isn't an awful person. Commentate the match and what Chris G is doing, but there's no reason to pretend that he wasn't involved in some disgusting shit recently and that you also have to pump him up as well.
