Or she could come out like Melda:

(i.e. Great)
If I ever started collecting Yamato figures, I'd start with this motherfucker right right here:

Just look at that manly beard.

He looks effing great. I think if I ever get anything Yamato, it would be this one and the Yamato SOC :

Almost half a meter long and 26k though...

With those
and a Harada Makoto figure because life
I'd be all set.

Chrono's experience has tainted the Canadian postal service.
Haha probably. They're tired of delivery all of these heavy packages.

I honestly think you should call Canada Post to see what happened. If it were me, I would make a complaint.
I'm tempted. I'll see how I feel in the morning.

How big was the box? Was it heavy?
Maybe they put it on the ground (instead of on a trolley) and it was on a puddle?

My mailman likes to put my packages on the ground when he scans them for the signature.
Maybe it's a habit? :/
It was definitely heavy [and large], but the damage seemed to be on the top [where they "repaired" it], so either it was placed in a puddle upside-down, got wet, ripped open, and then they patched it, or it was damaged another way.

I guess we'll never know. :/

That is looking ridiculously great. Better than the original, I dare say

Original as in the one Orchid Seed made? This one??

cause I thought Orchid Seed's one was quite bad...probably one of the worst looking 7-sins figure.

The new one by Amakuni looks great. I was hesitant when I initially saw the official pictures, but after seeing the akibaphotography's pictures, I am really tempted to get it.

Satan's art was probably my 3rd favorite of the designs, and I liked the figure too. The hair looks so fiery on this new one, and the face is way more adorable. Something about her mouth on the original just isn't quite right. Regardless, I have her on order.

Maturity, bitches.
I can live without that easily. :p
Aptly describes most GSC exclusives. The worst was the tiny scissor blade for the Ryuko nendoroid. Why would you even pay a premium for that? On the other hand Mako's exclusive face plate was pretty cool though I would likely never display her with that if I bought that nendo.

All these figures, all looking so nice. MY WALLET X_X

I can't even order half of them due to having no money. This is like torture.

Awesome, thanks, more fond of the near all white look, than the image I posted, need more space girls in my collection, Samus is lonely... I never noticed until I got all my figures back out that I'm very Sword and Sorcery bent when choosing anime figures.

Edit: just saw Hot Toys is finally releasing it's Ichabod Crane figure:

Also this just started shipping out from Sideshow, $99 (got enough RP to get it for free) but I don't know why I want it, or where it would go (by hellboy?):

I could also get this Vampirella tooned up statue for $159 (got enough RP to get it for free) while it's not my grail, but it's Electric Tiki and bishoujo sized, it sorta works in this guys collection at least:

So my combined shipment arrived from AmiAmi, but not all things are good.

I noticed, after signing and bringing it inside, that there was extra cardboard attached to the outer box that said "Repaired by Canada Post" on it. That was worrying. When I opened it all up, the inside contents were wet. Because of this, many of the boxes [namely Sansei Muramasa and the Link Nendoroid] were damaged in a couple places. Thankfully the inside contents are fine, it's mostly the box itself that's damp. From what I can gather, the box was ripped open during transport, and likely got wet while being moved. So yeah, not too happy. :/

I have them set aside to see how they look after drying a bit, but there's definitely discoloration/creases on the boxes that will remain. I guess the important part is that the figures themselves are fine, but since I'm a collector [and prefer everything in pristine condition, even the boxes] it is a bit upsetting. It's not AmiAmi's fault, though. They had everything packaged extremely well, but even the water went through all of the packing material they had.

Sounds like the shit I've had to deal with. Although my stuff has actually been stolen. Up to a total of 200 dollars worth of Lego stolen now in last 4 months. Multiple packages.

Wow that was fast.

Amazon Japan don't mess around, if time is a factor it's sooo worth it..

Two different girls. They look similar though.
Yuki Mori is on the Yamato crew while Sasha is the girl in the capsule. The figure is based off another girl related to Sasha named Yurisha.

Thanks for clarifying, I just remember the original Starblazers with Wildstar, Captain Avatar, Queen Starsha etc. and only vaguely remember it 'cause that was like 1979-1980. Like Gallaxy Express 999, Captain Harlock, Battle for the Planets, these were staples of my childhood.

Anyone know if the live action Space Battleship Yamato movie was any good?

No problem! I loved the original too. I'm quite familiar with the 2199 stuff as of recent so I figured the least I could do was help out. (I didn't see the movie but heard good things).
