Really enjoying it so far. The only thing that throws me off is the music. I know they must have kept the original music from the old show but having never seen it, it can seem out of place sometimes to me. Nothing bad of course, but very 70s.
I love the opening. So retro, so glorious. Saraba chikyuu yo... tabidatsu fune wa... Priceless

Jason just arrived and Freddy ain't nowhere to be seen, seller said it was sent on the 5th. So yeah, Bishoujos from Nippon-Yassan from now on...
The opening with the acapella chorus is the most epic thing ever. It's amazing how relevant that soundtrack still is.

Looks awesome, never read "Ah, my goddess" , but I was still tempted to buy this one on looks alone at half price.
Still need to see it, I've never heard a kind word about the Harlock movie, but I never heard anything about the Yamato one...

Yeah it wasn't very good at all but I thought it was entertaining. I haven't seen much Harlock at all though so the butchery didn't cut as deep.

I really like the show, but it's not for everybody though. If you enjoy slower romantic shows then give it a look.
Yes, both me and my GF were huge Harlock fans as kids so we were brutally disappointed. My words may be harsh for that reason (hers would be even harsher).
